다중회귀분석/DEA 결합모형을 활용한 사립전문대학 성과평가

국문 초록

본 연구는 기존의 DEA 모형이 대부분 1.00의 완전효율을 갖는 ‘편포’를 보인다는 점에 착안하고, 이에 대한 대안으로 다중회귀분석/DEA 결합모형을 활용하여 사립전문대학의 성과평가 모형으로 의미가 있는가에 대하여 탐색하였다. 이를 위해, 2018대학기본역량진단 정량지표를 중심으로 ‘투입’ 및 ‘산출’ 변수를 설정하였고, 대학정보센터의 대학알리미에서 공시자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 결합모형은 기본모형보다 의미가 있는 것으로 평가해 볼 수 있다. 기존 DEA 모형의 경우, DMU 효율치의 격차는 작고 대부분 1.00에 가까운 완전효율을 달성하고 있으며, 편포를 보이므로 성과평가 모형으로 부적절할 수 있다. 반면에, 본 연구의 결합모형은 기본모형보다 효율치의 격차가 크게 나타나고 있으며 기존 모형과 비교할 때 정상분포를 보이는 등 의미 있는 차이를 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 다중회귀분석/DEA 결합모형은 우리나라 사립 전문대학의 효율성 측정에 대한 성과평가 모형으로 의미가 있을 수 있으며, 이상의 내용을 토대로 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study considered that most existing DEA models exhibited ‘distribution’ with full effectiveness of 1.00 and explored whether they were meaningful as a performance evaluation model of private colleges through multiple regression/DEA combination models as an alternative. To this end, the variables ‘input’ and ‘output’ were set up based on the quantitative indicators for the 2018 Basic Competency Diagnosis of colleges, and the research model was set up. The study showed that the combined model was more meaningful than the basic model. For the existing DEA model, the difference in DMU efficiency is small and achieves near the full efficiency of most 1.00 and can be inappropriate as a performance evaluation model because of its distribution. On the other hand, it was analyzed that the combined model of this study showed a larger gap in efficiency than the basic model, and showed a significant difference, such as a normal distribution compared to the existing model. It can be meaningful as a performance evaluation model for efficiency measurement of private colleges in Korea, and based on the above contents, a suggestion for follow-up research was presented.
