JigsawⅡ 협동학습이 NCS기반 자동화설비과목 PLC단원의 학업성취도에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

이 연구는 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standards: NCS) 기반 자동화 설비 과목의 프로그램 가능 논리 제어 장치(Programmable Logic Controller: PLC) 단원 수업에서 JigsawⅡ 협동학습이 학업성취도에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 검증하고자 구미시 소재 K공업고등학교 2학년 학급 중 집단 동질성이 확인된 2개 학급 40명을 실험집단, 통제집단으로 선정하고 준실험 설계로 이질집단 사후검사 설계를 활용하였다. 2017년 11월 13일부터 12월 1일까지 총 9차시로 실험 집단에는 JigsawⅡ 협동학습 적용수업을, 통제집단에는 전통적 강의식 수업을 실시하고 인지적 영역, 심리 운동적 영역의 학업성취도 사후검사 결과를 독립표본 t-검정과 Mann-Whitney U 검정으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, JigsawⅡ 협동학습 적용 수업은 전통적 강의식 수업보다 인지적, 심리 운동적 영역의 학업성취도에 효과적인 것으로 분석되었다. 성별에 따라서는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 학업성적수준에 따라서는 중위집단에서는 인지적 영역에서, 하위집단의 경우 인지적, 심리 운동적 영역 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study is aimed to analyze the effect of JigsawⅡ cooperative learning in PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) chapter of NCS(National Competency Standards)-based automation equipment course. To verify this, data was collected from 40 second grade students in two classes at K electronic technical high school in Gumi and each class represented the experimental group and the control group. Research was proceeded nine times during a three weeks from Nov. 13 to Des. 1. The homogeneity of the two groups was confirmed before the allocation of the group. This thesis used quasi-experimental design and nonequivalent group posttest-only design. As an important statistical skill, this thesis applied t-test and Mann-Whitney U test about cognitive and psychomotor academic achievement. The results of the analysis are as follows. In comparison with the traditional learning model, JigsawⅡ cooperative learning model had more positive effect on raising the academic achievement. No significant difference in academic achievement was found according to gender within the JigsawⅡ cooperative learning group. However, statistically significant difference in academic achievement was found according to level within the JigsawⅡ cooperative learning group. In addition, more significant difference in cognitive academic achievement was found among students who belonged to the middle and lower level group. Also, there was a significant difference in psychomotor academic achievement at lower group.
