생태유아교육 프로그램의 교육방법 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 생태유아교육 프로그램의 교육방법을 고찰함으로서 생태유아교육에서 지향하는 교육방법이 구체적으로 현장의 프로그램에서 어떻게 실천되고 있는지, 생태유아교육의 교육방법의 특징이 무엇인지를 모색하였다. 이를 위하여 산책·텃밭가 꾸기·세시풍속·미술 프로그램 책을 분석대상으로 선정, 각각 시간, 공간, 신체, 관계의 네 가지 실존체를 축으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 생태유아교육 프로그램의 교육방법은 (시간성) 계절과 자연의 때에 따른 체험적 시간과 유아의 호흡에 따른 느슨한 시간, (공간성) 옅어진 경계, 교육공간의 확장과 관계와 소통을 강조한 연결 공간, (신체성) 몸으로 열어가는 놀이본능과 자유 로운 몸에 따른 몰입, (관계성) 폭넓은 관계 속 배움과 협력자로서의 교사로 이해되었다. 이는 생태유아교육 프로그램에 나타난 교육방법이 교육기관을 넘어 유아의 일상의 영역으로 확장된 것으로, 유아가 놀이와 일상에 능동적인 주체가 되어 자신의 삶을 주도적으로 살아가는 힘을 길러주었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the educational methods pursued in eco-centered early childhood education is practiced concretely at the field of education and, what is the characteristic of eco-centered early childhood education program by examining the educational methods of eco-centered early childhood education. For the study, Walking activity, Kitchen garden cultivation, Traditional seasonal customs, Art program, were selected as analysis object, and were analyzed by the four existing existences of time, space, body, relationships. As a result of this study, the educational method of eco-centered early childhood education program was understood that (Temporality) the experiential time at season and nature and loose time due to infant’s breathing, (Space) thin boundary, the expansion of education space and the connection space emphasizing relationship and communication, (Body) play instinct with body and immersion according to free body, (Relationship) learning in broad relations and teacher as a cooperator. It appeared that the educational methods presented in the eco-centered early childhood education program is extended to the daily life of young children beyond the educational institution, and developed the power for child to lead his own life becoming an active subject in play and daily life.
