대학생의 양성평등 의식이 출산의지에 미치는 영향: 결혼에 대한 인식의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 출산의지와 결혼에 대한 인식, 양성평등 의식간의 관계를 살펴보고 그 하위요인에 사이에서 결혼에 대한 매개효과는 어떠한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해서 2018년 12월 20일부터 2019년 1월 15일까지 전라남 도 지역에 위치한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 남녀대학생 239명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 대학생의 출산의지와 결혼, 양성평등 의식간의 관계를 살펴보기 위하여 Pearson 적률상관분석을 실시하였고, 대학생의 양성평등 의식이 출산의지에 미치는 영향에서 결혼에 대한 인식이 매개효과를 발휘하는지 살펴보기 위하여 3단계 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 대학생의 출산의지와 양성평등 의식 그리고 결혼에 대한 인식간의 관계에서는 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 이는 출산의지와 양성평등 의식 그리고 결혼에 대한 인식간에 상호간의 유의미한 관계가 있음을 의미한다. 둘째, 대학생의 결혼에 대한 인식은 양성평등 의식 그리고 출산의지 사이에서 부분적으로 매개효과를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 전체 출산의지 그리고 개인적, 정책적 측면에서의 출산의지에서 양성평등 의식이 직접적으로 영향을 주기도 하지만, 양성평등 의식이 결혼에 대한 인식에 영향을 주는 것을 통해 출산의지를 더욱 증가시킬 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to observe relationship of college students’ perception about childbirty will, marriage, and gender equality. Through the obervation, the study is find out mediating effect about marriage while gender equality influences childbirth and its sub factors. Two hundred thirty-nine male and female college students who were attending 4-year college in Jeollanam-do participated for the survey during December 20th, 2018 to 15 th, 2019. For the collected data analysis about the relationship of college students’ perceptions on childbirth will, marriage, and gender equality consciousness, Pearson Moment Correlation Analysis was practiced. Three-steps of Parameter Regression Analysis was also exercised to find if perception of marriage would fully influence mediating effects in the relationship of college students’ childbirth will, marriage, and gender equality. The study results are as follows: first, the college students’ childbirth will, gender equality consciousness, and awareness of marriage appeared meaningful static correlation. It demonstrated there is mutual meaningful relationship between understanding of childbirth, gender equality, and marriage. Second, the awareness of college students’ marriage indicated as partial mediating effect between gender equality consciousness and awareness of childbirth. The gender equaljty consciousness influenced directly to the childbirth will overall in terms of personal and policy aspect but it led even to increase the childbirth will awareness of marriage.
