환아(患兒)보육에 대한 영유아 부모의 인식과 요구도 조사

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집에서 지속적으로 발생하는 환아에 대한 지원을 위해 어린이집에 다니는 영유아 부모들의 인식 및 요구도를 조사하여 환아 지원 시스템을 구축하기 위한 기초 연구이다. 부산 시내 어린이집에 다니는 부모 188명에게 환아보육에 대한 선행연구를 고찰하여 제작한 설문지를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 환아에 대한 인식을 살펴본 결과 아이가 아플 때 주로 전업주부인 어머니 혹은 어머니가 휴가를 내어 아이를 돌보는 것으로 나타났으며, 환아보육에 대한 인식은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 환아보육에 대한 요구도를 살펴본 결과 환아 보육 및 병치레 보육에 대한 필요성을 지지하고 있으며, 이용유무에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식을 드러내었다. 또한 부모들은 전문 인력이 보살피는 환아보육의 제도와 가정 방문형 환아보육 서비스를 보다 선호하고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 영유아 부모들을 난처하게 하는 영유아의 질병을 안심하고 해결할 수 있도록 가정, 기관 뿐 아니라 지역사회의 의료기관과 연계된 통합적 지원 체계 마련에 시사점을 줄 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study is a basic study for establishing a care support system for sick child by examining the perception and needs of infants and toddler s parents at day care centers. The subjects were 188 parents at day care centers in Busan. The results of the study are as follows: First, the perception of the sick - child was found to be that mothers take care of their child when the child is sick, and the awareness of the sick-child care is low. Second, as a result of examining the need for sick-child care, they back up the necessity of care for sick-child and after-sick child and thought positively about the use of sick-child care system. Parents were also more likely to prefer sick-child services for home - based care and day care center services for professional care-givers. Based on the results of this research, it can be suggested to provide an integrated support networking not only between families and day-care centers but also with community medicines.
