내·외국인 학생의 협업교과목 운영 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 외국인 전용 대학 교양교과목 중 중국유학생과 한국학생의 협업교과목을 개발한 이후, 이를 2017학년도 1학기와 2학기에 걸쳐 시행한 후 학생들의 만족도를 향상시킨 사례 연구이다. 자료 수집은 먼저 연구 시작 전에 P대학에 재학 중인 유학생을 대상으로 요구조사를 실시하였다. 이 조사에서 유학생들은 성공적인 대학생활을 위해 한국사회 전반에 대한 이해와 한국인 친구들과의 교류를 원한다고 답했다. 이를 해결하기 위해 중국과 한국 국적의 학생들을 대상으로 하는 협업교과목을 개발하였다. 교과목을 개발한 뒤에는 교내 비교과프로그램에서 시범 적용하였고, 이를 토대로 실제 교과목을 개설하였다. 첫 학기는 시범적으로 운영하였으며, 두 번째 학기부터는 본격과목으로 채택되어 현재까지 운영하고 있다. 수업은 탄뎀학습을 적용하여 자기주도학습이 이루어지도록 하였으며, 본 연구에서는 수업 진행 방식과 학습 내용, 평가 규정 등을 가급적 상세하게 제시하였다. 15주 수업을 마친 후 수강생을 대상으로 설문을 하였다. 만족도 결과는 90% 이상의 학생들이 ‘매우 좋았다’와 ‘좋았다’를 선택하였다. 이 결과에서 나타난 협업교과목 운영은 중국유학생들의 만족도를 높이게 되었다. 따라서 국적권, 또는 언어권 별로 협업교과목이 개발되어 운영 된다면 외국인 유학생의 대학생활 만족도를 높여 중도탈락을 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

In this research, we developed a collaboration course between Chinese students and Korean students in the liberal arts courses for foreigners, and this is a case report that we conducted this for two semester. When we asked for international students studying at the university, they requested understanding of Korean society in general and exchange with Korean friends for a successful university life. In order to solve this, we have developed collaborative subjects for students of Chinese and Korean citizenship. After developing the subjects, we applied experiments in comparative programs, and based on this we opened up actual subjects. The first term is administered experimentally, and from the second semester, it is adopted as a regular subject and it operates. Classes applied Tandem learning so that they can self-directed learning. In this research, we presented the details of how to proceed, contents of learning, evaluation etc as much as possible. after completing the 15th week class, we surveyed the students and tried to diagnose the effect of the collaboration subjects based on this result. As a result of satisfaction, over 90% of students chose very good and good . Therefore, if the collaborative curriculum is developed and operated by the nationality or language area, it will increase the satisfaction of college life of foreign students and reduce the halfway dropouts, as well as provide a global mindset for Korean students.
