국문 초록

이 연구에서는 2016년 3월부터 5월까지 충청북도에 소재하고 있는 S초등학교 5, 6학년 9명의 학생들에게 디자인 씽킹 기반 프로그램을 12차시 동안 적용하였다. 그리고 초등학생들로부터 관찰되는 집단 창의성의 속성을 디자인 씽킹 단계 별로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 디자인 씽킹을 적용한 초등학생들로부터 집단 창의성의 속성을 일부 관찰할 수 있었고, 이들의 집단 창의성 발현을 돕는 전략으로써 디자인 씽킹 기반 문제 해결 학습의 특징을 공감과 프로토타입 측면에서 찾아볼 수 있었다. 즉, 초등학생들은 공감 활동을 통해 집단 내 공동의 목표 설정과 수평적 관계를 형성할 수 있었던 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들은 프로토타입 단계를 통해 의미 있는 의사소통을 경험하고, 실패에 대한 두려움을 극복할 수 있었던 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 교육적 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we applied the design thinking programs developed to 9 students that were 5th and 6th graders in S elementary school located in Chungcheongbuk-do for 12 lessons from March to May 2016. The attributes of group creativity observed from elementary school students were analy z ed by design thinking step. As a result, we could observe some attributes of group creativity in elementary school students who were applied design thinking, and we could also find the characteristics of problem solving learning based on the design thinking in terms of empathy and prototype as a strategy to help their group creativity manifest. In other words, the elementary school students were able to form a common goal setting and hori z ontal relationship within the group through empathy activity. They also found that they were able to experience meaningful communication and overcome their fear of failure through the prototype phase. The educational implications for such were discussed.
