초등학생의 PPAT 그림검사에 나타난 학업스트레스에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생을 대상으로 ‘사과나무에서 사과 따는 사람(PPAT)’ 그림검사의 반응특성을 통하여 성별과 학업스트레스 정도에 따른 심리적 특성을 파악하고, PPAT 그림검사가 초등학생의 학업스트레스 정도를 평가하는 검사도구로서의 활용 가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 자료 수집은 2016년 11월 7일부터 12월 16일까지이고, 경기도에 소재한 초등학교 5∼6학년 369명에게 PPAT 그림검사와 학업스트레스 검사를 실시하였으며, 자료의 분석은 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, PPAT 그림검사에 나타난 성별에 따른 반응특성은 형식척도에서는 색칠 정도, 내적 에너지, 논리성, 사실적 표현, 인물 표현, 세부묘사, 그리고 내용척도에서는 그림에 사용된 색의 수, 사람의 성별, 사람의 얼굴 방향, 나이, 옷에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 초등학생의 학업스트레스 정도에 따른 PPAT 그림검사 반응특성은 형식척도에서는 내적 에너지, 공간사용, 통합, 사과취득 유무, 그리고 내용척도에서는 사람의 얼굴 방향, 옷에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 연구결과를 고려할 때 PPAT 그림검사에 표현된 반응은 초등학생의 성별, 학업스트레스 정도에 따른 특성을 파악하는데 유용하다는 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychological characteristics of elementary school students according to their gender and study stress through the reaction characteristics of a Person Picking an Apple From a Tree (PPAT) drawing test, and to evaluate the degree of study of elementary school students and to explore the possibility of using it as an inspection tool. Data collection is from November 7, 2016 to December 16, and 369 elementary school students in grades 5 to 6 in Gyeonggi-do conducted PPAT drawing test and study stress test. The analysis of the collected data was carried out by crossover analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, the response characteristics according to gender in the PPAT drawing test showed significant differences in the degree of coloring, internal energy, logicality, realistic expression, character representation, and detail in FEATS, also there was differences in the number of colors used, the sex of the person, the direction of the face, age, and clothes in Content Scale. Second, the response characteristics of PPAT drawing test according to the degree of study stress of elementary school students showed significant difference in internal scales of energy, space use, integration, and apple acquisition in FEATS, also there was a significant difference in the face direction and clothes of the person in Content Scale. These results suggest that the responses presented in the PPAT drawing test are useful for characterizing elementary school students gender and study stress levels
