임상실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 비판적 사고성향 및 공감피로의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 비판적 사고성향 및 공감피로의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생 125명이었다. 연구도구는 자아탄력성, 비판적 사고성향, 공감피로를 사용하였고, 공감피로는 전문직 삶의 질의 하위요인인 소진과 이차 외상성 스트레스 점수를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson‘s correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 자아탄력성은 3.66점, 비판적 사고성향은 3.49점, 공감피로의 하위요인 중 소진이 24.41점, 이차 외상성 스트레스가 25.48점이었다. 자아탄력성은 전공만족도, 임상실습 만족도, 임상실습 수행태도에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를, 소진은 전공만족도에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 소진은 자아탄력성, 비판적 사고성향과 음의 상관을, 이차 외상성 스트레스는 자아탄력성과 음의 상관을 나타내었다. 본 연구를 바탕으로, 간호대학생의 공감피로 예방 전략 개발을 위한 후속 연구를 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study is a descriptive research to verify the relationships among undergraduate nursing students ego-resilience, critical thinking disposition, and compassion fatigue in clinical practice. The participants were 125 undergraduate nursing students with clinical experience. The surveys measured ego-resilience, critical thinking disposition and compassion fatigue. Burnout and secondary traumatic stress were ProQOL-5 s subscales reflecting components of compassion fatigue. The data analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson s correlation coefficient with IBM SPSS 23.0. The result as follows: The mean score on ego-resilience was 3.66, on critical thinking disposition was 3.49, on compassion fatigue’s subscale, burnout was 24.41 and secondary traumatic stress was 25.48. Ego-resilience was statistically significant difference in satisfaction with college major, satisfaction with clinical practice and performance attitude in clinical practice. Burnout was statistical different for satisfaction with college major, statistically. Burnout was negatively correlated with ego-resilience, critical thinking disposition. Secondary traumatic stress was significantly negatively correlated with ego-resilience. On basis of these results, a further study is needed to develop prevention strategies of compassion fatigue for undergraduate nursing students.
