중·고령자의 노년기 일 희망 여부 예측요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 55세~74세의 중·고령자를 대상으로 하여 노년기 일 희망 예측 요인 파악하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 예비조사를 거쳐 2018년 6월 한 달 간 55~59세(200명), 60~69세(400명), 70~74세(200명) 총 820명 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 최종적으로 805부의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 주된 연구결과, 첫째, 현재 일을 하고 있는 중·고령자는 전체의 51.2%였고, 노년기까지 일을 하고자 하는 비율은 49.9%로 상당히 유사한 비율이었다. 둘째, 중·고령자의 현재 일 상태와 향후 일 희망 모두 개인의 특성에 따라 상당히 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 70세 미만인 경우, 고졸 이상의 고학력자 부부+미혼자녀 및 3세대가족인 경우에 현재 일을 하고 있는 비율이 높았다. 또한 남자인 경우, 70세 미만인 경우, 고졸 이상의 고학력자인 경우, 부부+미혼자녀세대인 경우, 중소도시에 거주하는 경우에는 노년기에도 일을 희망하였다. 셋째, 남성인 경우, 나이가 적을수록, 주관적 경제수준이 좋을수록, 현재 일을 하고 있는 경우에 노년기에도 일을 희망하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the predictive factors of wishing to work in old age for the middle and old aged between the age of 55~74, For the purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on a total of 800 research subjects —200 subjects each in 55~59 years old category and 70~74 years old category and 400 subjects in 60~69 years old category— in June 2018 after a preliminary survey, and a total of 805 copies of the questionnaire were used for analysis. The main research results were as follows: First, 51.2% of the middle and old aged were working at present, and 49.9% had a wish to work until the old age, showing a fairly similar ratio. Second, the current working status and the future work wish of the middle and old aged were significantly different based on their individual characteristics. In other words, under the age of 70, in the case of a highly educated couple (high school graduates) with unmarried children plus third generation, the rate of the subjects currently working was high. Also, in the case of male below the age of 70, in the case of the highly educated (high school graduates), in the case of a couple with unmarried children, in the case of residing in a small- to medium size city, the subjects had a wish of working in old age. Third, in the case of male, the lower the age, the better the subjective economic level, and in the case of the currently working, the subjects had a wish to work in old age.
