안전동요를 활용한 유아 안전교육 프로그램의 효과성 검증 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 안전동요를 활용한 유아 안전교육 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하는데 있다. 연구대상은 전라북도 K시 유치원에 다니는 만 5세 유아 52명이고, 실험집단 26명에게 안전동요를 활용한 안전교육 프로그램을 실시하고. 비교집단에게 생활주제에 맞는 안전교육을 실시하였다. 유아의 안전문제해결사고를 측정하기 위해 사전검사와 사후검사에서 곽은복(2000)이 작성한 「안전문제해결사고」검사 도구를 사용하였다. 연구절차는 사전검사, 실험처치, 사후검사 자료분석으로 이루어졌으며, 실험처치는 안전동요를 활용한 유아 안전교육 프로그램을 실시하였다. 자료분석은 두 집단 간 사후 검사에 대한 공변량 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 안전동요를 활용한 안전교육활동에 참여한 실험집단의 유아들은 비교집단의 유아들보다 안전문제해결사고가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 하위요인의 경우, ‘나와 다른 사람의 몸을 소중히 하기’와 ‘위험한 상황 알고 대처하기’는 실험집단의 유아들이 비교집단의 유아들보다 유의미하게 향상되었다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness of safety education programs for young children using safety songs. The subject were 52 five-years-old children participated in the study, who are currently enrolling in kindergarten in K city, Jeollabuk-do. The experimental group performed safety education program using safety songs, while the comparative group performed safety education content to the life subject. The Safety Problem Solving Ability test made by E. B, Kwak(2000) was used as both pre and post tests for assessing the young children’s Safety Problem Solving Ability. The study process was composed of preliminary examination, experiment, post-examination, data analysis. The experiment was conducted by safety education programs for young children using safety songs. The data collected in the study was processed through post-test about the two groups were analyzed with Analysis of Covariance. As for the result of the study, the young children of the experimental group showed significantly higher scores in safety problem solving abilities than those of the comparative group. A sub-factors of safety problem solving abilities showed that ‘cherishing one’s own and others’ bodies’ and ‘recognizing and handling a dangerous situation’ had more positive effects on young children of the experimental group than on those of the comparative group.
