대학 입학 전형에 따른 상급학교 전공 유지 의향, 전공 적합성, 전공 수업 만족도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

2014년도부터 도입된 학생부종합전형은 2008년 입학사정관제도를 보완하여 현재까지 시행되고 있다. 학생부종합전형은 평가 과정과 결과의 공정성 면에서 투명성을 확보하고 있는가에 대한 질문이 제기되고 있다. 이 연구는 교육 외적인 차이 현상을 규명하기보다는 입학전형에 따른 전공에 대한 인식, 적합성, 그리고 만족도를 조사하는 데 중점을 두어 수행되었다. 연구 결과, 상급 학교 진학 시 전공을 유지할 의향이 높은 집단, 전공 적합성이 높은 집단, 그리고 전공 수업에 높은 만족도를 보이는 집단은 공통적으로 학생부종합전형, 특기자 전형, 그리고 정시전형이었다. 반면 학생부교과전형과 논술전형 등은 전공 유지 의향과 전공 적합성이 상대적으로 낮은 편이었으며, 전공 수업의 만족도 역시 비교적 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 입학전형에서 전공을 더 세밀하게 고려하는 전형이 대학 수업에서도 적합성과 만족도를 높이는 방안이 될 수 있다는 것을 시사하며, 나아가서는 상급학교 진학 시에 도 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The total student admission program, which was introduced in 2014, has been in place since 2008, supplementing the admissions officer system. However, there is a question about whether the student selection process is transparent in terms of the evaluation process and the fairness of the results. This study focused on examining the perception, appropriateness, and satisfaction of the majors according to the entrance examination. The results of this study are as follows: the group with high intention to maintain major in graduate schoool, the group with high mobility of major, and the group with high satisfaction in major classes were the students from the total student admission program, special admission program, and regular admission program. On the other hand, the group with relatively lower intention to maintain major in graduate school, lower mobility of major, and the group with lower satisfaction in major classes were the students from curriculum the school admissions program and essay admission program. This suggests that a more precise consideration of the majors in the entrance examination may be a way to improve the suitability and satisfaction in college classes, and furthermore, it also affects the entrance into graduate schools.
