섭식 장애 아동의 임상 평가에 관한 연구

국문 초록

아동에게 음식을 먹는다는 것은 단순히 음식을 섭취한다는 의미뿐만 아니라 신체적, 정서적, 정신적 발달에 필수적인 활동이다. 이러한 활동에서 나타날 수 있는 문제들은 구조적 문제, 행동적 문제, 심리적 문제, 발달의 문제 등 다양하다. 일반적으로 작업치료사는 이러한 섭식의 문제를 평가하기 위해 임상평가를 사용한다. 임상에서 사용되는 평가의 주된 내용은 연구자들 마다 차이는 있으나 주로 개인의 섭식 상태에 대한 영역들로 구성되어 있어, 섭식장애를 가진 아동들의 치료 중재 전략을 세우는데 중요한 역할을 하는 임상 평가의 다양한 영역에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 섭식장애의 다양한 원인을 포함 할 수 있는 정보의 영역들을 체계적으로 분류하고 각 요소들을 확인하고자 하였다. 그 결과 아동의 섭식 장애를 평가하는데 유용한 포괄적 임상 평가 영역을 기초 정보 영역, 식사 참여 및 환경적 영역, 발달적 영역, 섭식 기능 및 기술 영역, 행동적 영역의 5가지로 나누어 분류하였고, 각 요소들을 확인 하였다. 이러한 포괄적 임상 평가는 섭식 장애 아동에 대한 이해를 높이고, 적절한 치료 중재 전략을 수립할 수 있는 임상적 근거로써 활용 할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Eating food for a children is not only a matter of eating it, it is also an activity essential for physical, emotional, and mental development. The problems that may arise in these activities include structural problems, behavioral problems, psychological problems, and developmental problems. In general, occupational therapists use clinical evaluation to assess these feeding problems. The main content of the evaluation used in clinical trials is different from each researcher, but mainly consists of domains of individual feeding habits, so that various aspects of clinical evaluation that play an important role in establishing a therapeutic intervention strategy for children with feeding disorders is not enough. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to systematically classify the areas of information that may include various causes of feeding disorders and to identify each factor. As a result, comprehensive clinical evaluation domains useful for assessing children s feeding disorders were classified into five categories: basic information domain, food participation and environmental domain, developmental domain, feeding function and technology domain, and behavioral domain. Respectively. This comprehensive clinical evaluation could be used as a clinical basis to enhance understanding of children with feeding disorders and to establish appropriate therapeutic intervention strategies.
