키워드 네트워크 분석을 통한 초등 예비교사를 대상으로 한 과학교육 연구 동향 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등 예비교사를 대상으로 한 과학교육 연구 동향을 알아보기 위하여 학술진흥재단의 등재(후보) 학술지 논문의 요약 부분에 제시된 키워드를 추출하여 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 키워드 네트워크의 중심성을 분석한 결과, 2009 2007 개정 과학과 교육과정 각론 적용 시기별 키워드 수, 총링크 수는 논문 편수에 의해 차이를 보였으나 밀도와 평균연결 수는 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 두 시기 모두 ‘초등예비교사’ 키워드가 연결정도중심성, 매개중심성 분석에서 모두 높게 나타났다. 2009 개정 과학과 교육과정 각론 적용 시기에서는 ‘오개념’이 그 다음으로 높게 나타났고, 2007개정 과학과 교육과정 각론 적용 시기에서는 ‘인식’과 PCK 가 그 다음 순으로 높게 나타났다. 컴포넌트를 분석한 결과에서는, ‘초등예비교사’ 키워드를 중심으로 2009 개정 과학과 교육과정 각론 적용 시기에는 1개의 대형 컴포넌트와 4개의 소형 컴포넌트가 나타났고, 2007 개정 과학과 교육과정 각론 적용 시기에는 1개의 대형 컴포넌트와 7개의 소형 컴포넌트가 나타났다. 2007 개정 과학과 교육과정 각론 적용 시기에 소형 컴포넌트가 7개 형성된 것은 연구 논문의 독창성을 추구한 다양한 주제의 연구가 진행되었다고 해석할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the trend of elementary pre-service teachers’ science education research, particularly by extracting keywords from summaries of academic journal-registered theses (candidates) in KRF (Korea Research Foundation) and analyzing keyword networks. As a result of analyzing the centrality of keyword networks, this study discovered that there were some differences in the number of keywords and total links by the number of theses, between two different periods when subject matter curriculums of the 2009 and 2007 Revised Science Curriculum were applied respectively, but the density and the average number of connections remained similar between the two periods. When conducting analyses of degree centrality and betweenness centrality, this study found out that the keyword, ‘Elementary Pre-service Teacher’, was highest in both the periods, followed by ‘Misconception’ during the period when subject matter curriculum of the 2009 Revised Science Curriculum was applied, and ‘Perception’ and ‘PCK’ during the period of when subject matter curriculum of the 2007 Revised Science Curriculum was applied. As a result of analyzing components focusing on the keyword,‘Elementary Pre-service Teacher’, 1 large-sized component and 4 small-sized components were found in the period when subject matter curriculum of the 2009 Revised Science Curriculum was applied, while 1 large-sized component and 7 small-sized components were found in the period when subject matter curriculum of the 2007 Revised Science Curriculum was applied. Interestingly, there were as many as 7 small-sized components formed in the period when subject matter curriculum of the 2009 Revised Science Curriculum, and it may indicate that various researches with different topics were conducted only to pursue research creativity during this period.
