국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관 원장이 학부모와의 관계에서 경험하는 어려움에 관한 연구물을 질적 메타분석을 통해 탐색하고, 어려움을 해결하려는 노력을 알아보고자 하는 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적에 따라Noblit & Hare(1988)가 제시한 질적 메타분석 7단계에 따라 유아교육기관 원장과 학부모와의 갈등, 민원과 같은 어려움을 주제로 한 선행연구 7편을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아교육기관 원장은 기관에 대한 신뢰 부족, 인적 환경 간 신뢰 부족으로 인해 학부모와의 어려움이 있었고, 어려움을 극복하기 위해노력은 전문성 강화, 소통 활성화, 제도적 지원을 요구하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 유아교육기관 원장이 학부모와의 관계에서 경험하는 어려움의 내용을 알 수 있으며, 저출산 시대를 맞아 효율적인 유아교육기관 운영의 근본이 되는 학부모-기관 관계 형성을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the research on the difficulties experienced by directors of early childhood education and care institution in their relationships with parents through a qualitative meta-analysis, and to investigate their efforts to solve the difficulties. In accordance with the purpose of this study, according to the 7 steps of qualitative meta-analysis proposed by Noblit & Hare (1988), 7 previous studies were analyzed on the topic of difficulties such as conflicts and complaints between parents and directors of early childhood education and care institution. As a result of the study, it was found that the directors of early childhood education institutions had difficulties with parents due to the lack of trust in the institution and the lack of trust between the human environment. In order to overcome the difficulties, efforts required professional enhancement, communication activation, and institutional support. With the results of this study, it is possible to understand the contents of the difficulties experienced by the directors of early childhood education and care in relation to parents, and it is meaningful to provide basic data for the formation of parent-institution relationships, which are the basis for efficient management of early childhood education and care institution in the era of declining birthrate.
