국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 텍스트 마이닝과 비판적 담론 분석(CDA)을 활용하여 90년대 한국 대중가요 인기곡노래 가사 분석을 통해 90년대의 시대 감성 담론을 미시적 맥락으로 탐색하는 것이다. 90년대를 전반과 후반으로 각각 나누어 인기곡 가사 텍스트의 주제 담론을 도출하고 감성 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 90 년대 전반기는 발라드 음악이 41% 이상으로 가장 많았으며, ‘사랑의 추억’, ‘이별의 아픔과 인내’, ‘회상’, ‘축복과 바램’ 주제가 도출되었다. 전반기 노래 가사의 감성은 ‘슬픔’을 포함한 부정적 감성의 강도가 높게 나타났다. 반면, 90년대 후반은 록, 댄스, 힙합 장르가 대거 등장하면서 대중가요의 장르가 다양해지는 경향을 보였고, 구체적으로 ‘상실감의 일상’, ‘추억과 그리움’, ‘행복한 Love day’, ‘주체적 사랑’ 의 주제 담론이 도출되었고, ‘사랑스럽다’, ‘행복하다’를 포함한 긍정적 감성의 강도가 높게 나타났다. 90년대 전·후반은 각각 80년대와 2000년대 시대 감성의 징후적 포착이 가능한 점에서 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the emotional discourse of the 90s in a micro context by analyzing the lyrics of popular Korean pop songs from the 90s using text mining and critical discourse analysis (CDA). The 90s were divided into the first half and the second half of the 90s, and the thematic discourse of the lyric text of popular songs was derived and emotional analysis was conducted. As a result of the analysis, in the first half of the 90s, ballad music accounted for the most at over 41%, and the themes of ‘memories of love’, ‘pain and patience of parting’, ‘reminiscence’, and ‘blessings and wishes’ were derived. The emotions of the song lyrics in the first half of the year showed a high intensity of negative emotions, including ‘sadness’. On the other hand, in the late 90s, with the emergence of rock, dance, and hip-hop genres, the genres of popular songs tended to diversify, specifically 'daily life of loss', 'memories and longing', 'happy love day', and 'subject love'. 'Thematic discourse was derived, and the intensity of positive emotions including 'lovely' and 'happy' was high. The early and late 90s are significant in that they allow us to capture symptomatic emotions of the 80s and 2000s, respectively.
