국문 초록

본 연구는 인공지능 시대, 영화 제작 과정에서 디지털 휴먼의 연기가 배우의 디지털 정체성과 관련된몸짓의 지식재산과 가지는 상관관계를 고찰하였다. AI 기술을 활용한 콘텐츠 제작의 활용도가 증가함에따라, 배우들은 기존에 경험하지 못한 도전적인 상황에 직면하게 되었다. 크로마키 기술에서 LED Wall Studio 기술로 전환한 발전은 특정 배우의 연기 가능성에 대해 기술 복제를 통한 확장 가능성을 제시한다. 이 과정에서 특정 배우의 몸짓과 관련된 지식재산의 기술 복제를 통한 시장 독점이 배우들의 몸짓에 대한 위축된 표현을 초래할 수 있다는 한계를 지적하고 몸의 콜라주와 관련해서 디지털 휴먼이지니는 본질적인 특성으로서의 ‘프랑켄슈타인 효과’ 개념을 제안한다. 영화 제작자들은 인공지능을 활용해 시청각 제작물의 품질을 높이고, 디지털 휴먼 생성을 포함한 변화를 이끌었다. 본 연구는 디지털 휴먼과 자연인 배우와 관련된 최신 영상기술과 사례에 대해 살펴보고 디지털 휴먼과 배우의 정체성 및IP의 문제가 연기의 미래에 미칠 영향에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined how the performance of digital humans in the film production process in the era of artificial intelligence is correlated with the intellectual property (IP) of gestures related to the digital identity of movie actors. As the use of content production using AI technology increases, actors are faced with challenging situations they have never experienced before. In this situation, technological developments such as the transition from chromatic technology to LED Wall Studio technology present the possibility of expanding the acting potential of a specific actor through technological replication. In this process, it is pointed out that market monopoly through the technological reproduction of intellectual property related to the gestures of a specific actor can have a chilling effect on the reproduction of other actors' gestures. We propose the concept of the Frankenstein effect, an essential characteristic that digital humans cannot help but have. This study looked at the latest video technologies and cases related to digital humans and natural actors and discussed the impact that digital human identity and IP issues that arise in this process will have on the future of actors and acting.
