노백헌 정재규 시세계 일고찰(一考察)

국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 정재규의 애도시의 양상을 고찰하는 데에 있다. 정재규(1843-1911)는 구한말, 일제강점기에 영남에서 활동한 성리학자이며 문인이다. 그는 노사 기정진을 사사했고, 영남지방에 노사학파를형성하는 데에 주도적 역할을 했다. 또한 조식, 정여창 등의 학문을 계승하였다. 기호학파, 한주학파, 화서학파 학자들과도 교류하여 다양한 학설을 섭렵했다. 그의 문학 세계는 점진적으로 밝혀지고 있는데본 논문에서는 애도시를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 그는 자신과 오랫동안 친분을 쌓아 잘 알고 있는 사람을대상으로 삼았다. 주로 학문적 성과나 처신을 깨끗하게 한 결신의 덕행을 부각했다. 또 국난 타개를 위해 희생과 순국 정신을 발휘한 의병, 의사 행적을 부각했고, 이승을 혼탁한 세상으로 저승을 즐거운 공간으로 묘사했다. 이는 윤리가 어지럽혀지고 이익만을 추구하는 세태를 우회적으로 비판한 것이다. 이런 점에서 칭송과 비탄을 보여주는 애도시와 다른 면모를 지닌다. 본 연구는 애도시를 집중 고찰했으며향후 유람시 등을 통해 시세계를 구체적으로 보여주고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to examine the aspects of Jeong Jae-gyu’s mourning poem. Jeong Jae-gyu (1843-1911) was a Neo-Confucian scholar and writer who was active in Yeongnam during the late Han and Japanese colonial period. He learned from No-Sa Ki Jeong-jin, and played a leading role in forming No-Sa School in the Yeongnam region. He also inherited the studies of Jo Sik and Jeong Yeo-chang. He also interacted with scholars of the Giho School, Hanju School, and Hwaseo School, and studied various theories. His literary world is gradually being revealed, and in this thesis, we focused on mourning poem. He targeted people he knew well and had a close relationship for a long time. He mainly emphasized academic achievements or the virtues of inconsistent with the world. He also highlighted the works of righteousness soldiers who showed sacrifice and who showed the spirit of patriotism for overcoming the national crisis. And he described this world as a disturbed world, afterlife as a pleasuer space. It is an indirect critique of the state in which ethics is disturbed and the pursuit of profit only. In this respect, it is different from a mourning poem that shows praise and sorrow. This study had focused on the mourning poem and intends to show the his world of poetry in detail through travel poetry in the future.
