비교과교육에 대한 대학구성원의 인식 및 요구 차이 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 비교과프로그램에 대한 대학의 학생과 교직원의 인식 및 요구의 차이를 분석하고, 비교과교육의 방향성을 수립하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 수도권 대학의 학생과 교직원을 연구대상으로 온라인 및 오프라인 설문조사를 실시하고, 두 집단 간 차이를 분석하기 위하여 교차분석과 t검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 비교과프로그램 홍보방식 선호도, 프로그램 참여동기, 운영방식에 대한 이해, 운영성과 요인에서 유의한 차이가 났다. 학생들은 홍보방식에서 ‘SMS 문자’ 보다는 ‘교수/조교 추천’을더 선호하였다. 교직원은 참여동기, 운영방식 및 운영성과 문항에서 학생보다 더 높게 인식한 반면, 학생들은 참여동기와 운영방식에서 마일리지 장학금을 더 높게 인식하였다. 둘째, 역량기반 비교과교육과정 개선사항, 비교과교육 활성화 방안, 선호하는 비교과교육 운영방법, 우선적으로 지원이 필요한 비교과교육 영역 및 기타 지원 등에서 두 집단 간 차이가 났다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학의 역량기반 비교과프로그램을 개발·운영하고 비교과교육의 방향성을 제시하는 토대가 된다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the perceptions and needs of university students and faculty for the extra-curricular program and to establish the direction of the extra-curricular education. To this end, an online and offline survey was conducted for students and faculty at metropolitan universities, and the difference between the two groups was analyzed through cross-analysis and t-test. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were significant differences in preference for the extra-curricular program publicity method, program participation motivation, understanding of the operation method, and operational performance factors. Second, there were differences between the two groups in the areas of competency-based extra-curricular curriculum improvement, extra-curricular education promotion measures, preferred extra-curricular education operating methods, extracurricular education areas that require preferential support, and other support. The results of this study are significant in that they serve as a basis for developing and operating competency-based extra-curricular programs at universities and suggesting directions for extra-curricular education.
