노인학습자를 위한 평생교육 학습튜터 챗봇의 학습설계 전략에 관한 탐색 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 최근 가장 주목받고 있는 핵심기술 중 하나인 챗봇을 활용하여 노인들에게 개인화된 교육 서비스를 제공하기 위한 평생학습 관점에서의 챗봇의 활용 가능성 및 학습 설계에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 노인학습자를 대상으로 학습튜터 역할을 수행하는 챗봇의 프로토타입을 개발하여 이를 활용한 경험적 평가를 시행하였다. 우선 챗봇의 프로토타입 개발을 위한 선행연구 분석을 바탕으로 도입-전개-마무리 관점의 학습 절차를 설계하였고, 학습 콘텐츠 유형의 다양한 방법과 수업 성찰 전략을 설계하였다. 이를 바탕으로 우선 전문가 5인을 대상으로 휴리스틱 평가와 노인학습자 11명을 대상으로 사용자 경험 평가를 시행하였다. 결과 연구 결과, 전문가 및 사용자 평가를 통해 노인학습자를 위한 평생교육 학습튜터 챗봇의 유용성, 가치성 및 학습지속성 등에 대한 긍정적인 가능성을 확인하였고, 학습 설계 전략에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 결론 본 연구는 노인학습자들을 위한 챗봇 활용에 대한 경험적 평가를 통해 평생교육 학습 체제에 대한 기반을 마련하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한, 챗봇을 활용한 평생교육 관점에서 노인학습자를 위한 학습자 중심의 학습 설계에 대한 시사점을 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to derive implications for for the applicability of chatbots and learning design from the point of view of lifelong learning to provide personalized educational services to the elderly by using chatbot, one of the core technologies that are receiving the most attention recently. Methods To achieve the objective, a prototype of a chatbot that serves as a learning tutor for elderly learners was developed and an empirical evaluation study was conducted by using it. First, based on the analysis of previous studies for the development of the prototype of the chatbot, the learning strategies was designed in the introduction-learning activities-closing parts of a learning process, and various methods of learning content types and class reflection strategies were designed. Using the chatbot, heuristic evaluation for 5 experts and user experience evaluation for 11 elderly learners were conducted. Results As a result of the study, this study identified the positive potential for usefulness, value, and learning continuity of the lifelong learning tutor chatbot for elderly learners and implications for learning design strategy were derived. Conclusions This study is significant in that it provided an empirical evaluation and implications for the use of chatbots as a lifelong learning tool for elderly learners.
