중학교 꿈사다리 장학생 성장기록 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 꿈사다리 장학생들이 매월 제출하는 장학금 사용내역, 성장기록을 분석하고 체계적인 장학생 관리를 위한 제언을 제시하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 2018년부터 2020년까지 꿈사다리 장학생 총 514명. 약 1만여건의 장학금 월별 사용내역과 월별 성장기록을 텍스트마이닝 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과 2018학년, 2019학년, 2020학년의 세 시기로 구분하여 성장기록장 핵심주제 순위를 비교 분석한 결과, 모든 시기에 걸쳐 ‘공부’가 1순위로 나타났다. 2018학년-2019학년 성장기록과 비교하여 2020년은 고등학생이 된 꿈장학생들이 시험 부담을 더 크게 느끼며 준비하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 시지역 거주 꿈장학생 성장기록장에만 높은 빈도로 출현한 단어를 통해 도지역 거주 학생보다 시지역 학생들이 학업진행 상황을 기술할 때 시험을 대비하기 위해 공부한 내용, 이에 대한 각오를 비교적 더 많이 기술한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 꿈 장학금은 학생들의 학업몰입을 독려하고 필요한 곳에 장학금이 쓰여질 수 있도록 발굴, 지원하는 과정이 지속적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다. 추후 담당교사 외에도 꿈장학생 모니터링 요원을 별도로 배치하여 시스템을 통한 성장기록 작성 내용 파악, 장학금 활용 및 성장에 대한 모니터링 등을 지원해야한다. 또한 멘토를 통한 심리⋅정서적 지원과 상담 또는 멘토링 캠프 등 학생들의 목표⋅도전의식을 강화할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램 지원이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze scholarship usage history and growth records submitted by scholarship students every month and to present implications for systematic scholarship management. Methods From 2018 to 2020, the monthly use of scholarships and monthly growth records for 514 dream ladder scholarship students were analyzed through text mining. Results According to a comparative analysis by dividing the Key words of the growth record book into three stages in 2018, 2019, and 2020, “study” topped the list for the entire period. Compared to students' growth records from 2018 to 2019, “test” appeared as the top keyword for dream scholarship students in 2020. If you look at the words that frequently appear in the growth records of dream scholars living in the city center, there are “mid-term exams,” “final exams,” and “preparation.” This revealed that dream scholarship students who went to high school felt burdened by the test. Compared to students living in rural areas, students in urban areas recorded more details of their studies and resolutions to prepare for the exam in their growth record book. Conclusions Dream scholarships should encourage students to concentrate on their studies and continue to discover and support them so that they can use them where they need to. In addition to the teacher in charge, monitoring personnel for dream scholarships should be dispatched separately to help students understand the contents of growth records, utilize scholarships, and monitor growth through the system. In addition, various programs are needed to strengthen students' awareness of goals and challenges, such as psychological and emotional support, counseling, and mentoring camps through mentors.
