아동의 적응력 유형에 따른 가정환경 질의 차이

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 아동의 적응력을 군집분석하여 유형에 따라 가정환경의 질에 따른 차이가 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법 본 연구는 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널 9차년도(2016년)에 참여한 930명을 대상으로 연구하였다. 자료를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 일반적 특성을 알아보기 위해 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였으며 아동의 적응력에 대한 유형을 분류하기 위해 군집분석을 실시하여 4가지 유형을 도출하였다. 도출된 아동의 적응력 군집유형에 따라 가정환경의 질에 따른 차이가 있는지 검증하기 위해 일원변량분석(ANOVA)과 사후검증(Scheffé)을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 아동의 적응력 유형은 ‘학교생활 적응’, ‘교사 의존적’, ‘교우관계 의존적’, ‘학교생활 부적응’으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 아동의적응력 유형에 따라 가정환경의 질인 심리적⋅물리적 가정환경과 부모-자녀 상호작용 간에 차이가 있는가 살펴본 결과, 가정환경이심리적⋅물리적으로 적극적으로 지원할 때, 아동이 적응력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 아동의 부적응 행동에 대한 예방과 가정-학교와의 연계를 통해 아동의 적응력에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있도록적극적으로 도울 수 있는 방안을 제시할 수 있는 정보를 제공하는데 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was intended to investigate if there is a difference in the quality of the home environment depending on the type by clustering the adaptability of children. Methods This study was conducted on 930 people who participated in the 9th year(2016) of the Korean Children's Panel of KICCE(Korea Institute of Child Care and Education). To analyze the data, this study calculated frequency and percentage to determine general characteristics and 4 types were derived from cluster analysis to classify the type of adaptability of children. One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) and post hoc test(Scheffé) were conducted to verify if there is a difference in the quality of a child's home environment depending on the type of adaptability cluster of children. Results First, the types of adaptability of children were classified into ‘school life adaptation’ ‘teacher-dependent’ ‘frienddependent’ and ‘school life maladjustment’. Secondly, as a result of investigating if there is a difference between the quality of the home environment as psychological⋅physical home environment and parent-child interaction, it was identified that home environment makes a positive effect on children's adaptation to school life when the home environment is actively provided psychologically and physically. Conclusions The significance of this study is in providing information that can suggest ways to actively help the school life adaptation of children by preventing maladaptive behavior of children and through the link between home and school.
