국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학생의 감각처리민감성, 사회적지지, 우울의 관계를 살펴보고, 감각처리민감성이 우울에 미치는 영향에서 사회적지지의 조절효과를 확인함으로써, 대학생의 우울을 감소시키는 방안을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 광주광역시 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 248명에게 설문조사를 실시하였고, SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 통해 통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구대상자 및 변인들의 특성을 확인하기 위하여 기술통계분석을 실시하였고, 변인들간의 관계를 확인하기 위해 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, 사회적지지의 조절효과를 확인하기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 감각처리민감성은 우울과 정적 상관을 보였으며, 사회적지지와 우울은 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 감각처리민감성이 대학생의 우울에 미치는 영향에서 사회적지지의 조절효과를 확인하였다. 결론 높은 감각처리민감성으로 인하여 쉽게 우울해질 수 있는 대학생들을 위해서 감각처리민감성에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한 상담적 개입이 필요하며, 더불어 사회적지지를 증진시킬 수 있는 환경적 개입이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between sensory processing sensitivity, social support, and depression of university students, and to confirm the moderating effect of social support in the effect of sensory processing sensitivity on university students’ depression. And this study is to provide a intervention to reduce depression in unversity sudents. Methods The data collected from 248 university students located in G City, and statistical analysis was performed through the SPSS 27.0 program. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed to confirm the characteristics of study subjects and variables, correlation analysis was performed to confirm the relationship between variables, and hierarchical regression analysis was performed to confirm the moderating effect of social support. Results First, sensory processing sensitivity and depression showed positive correlation, and social support and depression showed negative correlation. Second, the moderating effect of social support was confirmed in the effect of sensory processing sensitivity on depression. Conclusions This study suggests the need for an environmental intervention that can enhance social support as well as a counseling intervention based on an understanding of sensory processing sensitivity for university students who can easily become depressed due to high sensory processing sensitivity.
