국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 2019 개정 누리과정의 사회관계 영역과 2015 초등학교 통합교과 교육과정을 분석함으로써 이후 개정될 각 학교급간 교육과정의 연계성에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 방법 분석의 대상이 된 자료는 2019 개정 누리과정과 2015 초등학교 통합교과 교육과정인 바른 생활, 슬기로운 생활, 즐거운 생활 교육과정이다. 분석 기준은 Tyler의 교육과정 내용 조직 원리 중 연계성과 관련 높은 계속성, 계열성의 차원에서 연계형태를 분석하였다. 계열성에 해당하는 연계는 심화⋅확대와 역행으로, 내용의 범위가 확장되거나 행위의 수준이 깊어지는 것은 ‘심화⋅확대’이며, 내용의 범위가 축소되거나 행위의 수준이 낮아지는 것은 ‘역행’으로 분석하였다. 또한, 내용의 범위나 행위의 수준이 변화하지는 않지만 동일 수준에서 반복되는 것은 ‘반복’이며 이는 계속성의 차원에서 연계에 해당하는 것으로 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 2019 개정 누리과정의 사회관계 영역은 초등학교 통합교과의 바른 생활과 슬기로운 생활과 연계되어 있다. 둘째, 사회관계 영역은 통합교과의 대주제 중 공간적 차원의 주제인 학교, 가족, 마을, 나라와 연계성을 갖는다. 셋째, 사회관계 영역의 내용범주와 하위 내용은 통합교과의 공간적 차원의 주제인 ‘학교-가족-마을-나라’가 보여주는 확장성과 유사하다. 넷째, 사회관계 영역은 통합교과의 즐거운 생활과 비연계 된 것이라 보기 어려우며, 표현기능을 내포한 즐거운 생활과도 연계성이 있다고 할 수 있다. 다섯째, 사회관계 영역의 하위내용별 연계성은 연계와 비연계, 연계적 측면에서는 계열성과 계속성이 복합적으로 교차하고 있다. 결론 두 교육과정의 구성체제가 상이하므로 일관성 있고 논리성 있게 연계성을 맞추는 것은 쉽지 않다. 지속적으로 변화하는 특성을 지닌 사회 관련 교육내용은 장기적으로 평가해야 하며, 유아교육과 초등교육의 연계성과 그 실천을 위해서는 상호 교육과정을 잘 이해하고자 하는 교육현장의 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to provide implications regards the articulation of curriculum to be revised between each level of school by analyzing the articulation between the social relations domain of the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum and the 2015 integrated curriculum for elementary education. Methods The data analyzed were the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum and the 2015 elementary education integrated curriculum: Right Life, Wise Life, and Joyful Life. Tyler's organization principle for curriculum content was used as the criteria for analysis, and the articulation form was analyzed in terms of continuity and sequence highly related to articulation. Articulation that correspond to sequence were analyzed as deepening/expansion and retrogression. Expanding the scope of content or increasing the level of action was analyzed as ‘deepening/expansion’, and reducing the scope of content or lowering the level of action was analyzed as ‘retrogression’. Repeating at the same level without changing the scope of content or level of behavior was considered ‘repetition’, and this was considered as articulation in terms of continuity. Results First, the social relations domain of the 2019 revised Nuri course is articulated to the ‘Right life’ and ‘Wise life’ of the integrated curriculum. Second, the field of social relations has articulation to school, family, village, and country, which are the spatial themes being part of the major themes of the integrated curriculum. Third, the range of content and sub-contents of the social relations domain are similar to the expandability shown by the spatial themes of the integrated curriculum, ‘school-family-village-country’. Fourth, it hard to say that the social relations domain is not related to the ‘Joyful life’ of the integrated curriculum, and it can be said that there is articulation with the ‘Joyful life’ that includes an expressive function. Fifth, the sub-contents of the social relations domain are intersected in a complex way to articulation and non-articulation, and sequence and continuity in the aspect of articulation. Conclusions It is not easy to match the articulation in a consistent and logical way because the composition systems of the two curricula are different. Educational contents related to social studies with continuously changing characteristics should be evaluated in the long term, and efforts to understand the mutual educational process for the articulation between early childhood education and elementary education are necessary.
