대학 이러닝 수업에서 실시간 팀별 표상활동이 지식습득과 확산적 사고에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학 이러닝에서 실시간 팀별 표상활동이 학습자들의 지식습득과 확산적 사고에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 학생들은 이 활동에 어떻게 반응하는지 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 서울 소재 대학 학부생 48명을 대상으로 단일 집단 사전-사후 검사를 통한 실험연구를 수행하였다. 우선 교육공학 기초 이론에 대한 지식수준과 확산적 사고력을 측정하기 위한 사전 설문조사를 실시하고, 교수자의 녹화강의와 실시간 팀별 표상활동을 진행한 후, 사후 설문조사를 실시하였다. 사전 및 사후 설문조사 결과 차이에 대한 통계적 유의성을 파악하고자 대응표본 t-검정을 수행하였으며, 추가적으로 사후 설문 조사지 주관식 문항에 대한 학습자 답변에 대하여 주제분석을 실시하였다. 결과 그 결과, 실시간 팀별 표상활동은 지식습득과 확산적 사고에 유의한 긍정적 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었고, 학생들은 이 활동을 타인의 다양한 관점을 조망해보고 학습이해도를 증진시킬 수 있는 가치 있고 흥미로운 기회로 인식하고 있었으며, 향후에도 경험할 수 있길 기대하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 따라서, 대학 이러닝 환경에서 학습자들의 지식습득을 촉진하고 확산적 사고력을 증진시키며 긍정적인 학습자 반응을 이끌어내기 위해서 교수자의 녹화강의와 더불어 실시간 팀별 표상활동을 수행하는 것이 바람직함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of real-time team-based representation activities on students’ knowledge acquisition and divergent thinking in university e-learning environments and how students reacted toward these activities. Methods For 48 undergraduates of a university located in Seoul, a pre-survey was conducted to measure the student s knowledge level and divergent thinking ability, recorded lectures on fundamental theories in the area of educational technology were provided, and real-time team-based representation activities were performed on the lecture contents. After completing the representation activities, a post-survey composed of the same items as the pre-survey and additional open-ended items was administered. A paired sample t-test was conducted to determine the statistical significance of the difference between the pre-and post-survey results. Theme analysis was carried out on their answers to the open-ended items of the post-survey. Results It was found that real-time team representation activities had a significant positive effect on students knowledge acquisition and divergent thinking and that the students recognized these activities as valuable and interesting opportunities to observe various perspectives of others and improve their understanding of the learning contents. It was also indicated that they were looking forward to being able to continuously experience these activities. Conclusions In university e-learning environments, it was proved to be desirable to perform real-time team-based representation activities on the lecture contents provided beforehand to promote students knowledge acquisition and divergent thinking skills and to elicit students positive attitudes.
