국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 신학전공 대학생들의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 선정하고 이들 간의 매개효과 및 관계를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 전국 4년제 대학 신학전공 대학생 중 목회실습 경험이 있는 364명을 대상으로 진로 관련 변인을 측정하기 위한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 신학전공 대학생의 진로소명에 대한 인식은 진로준비행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 신학전공 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감은 진로준비행동에 통계적으로 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신학전공 대학생의 진로 결정 자기효능감은 진로 소명과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 신학전공 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감의 발달에 대한 논의와 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 신학전공 대학생이 진로소명을 바탕으로 진로준비행동을 증진시키기 위해서는 진로결정 자기효능감을 발달시킬 수 있는 방안을 검토해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to identify whether the three sub-factors of calling; transcendent summons, purpose/meaning, prosocial orientation, affect career preparation behavior. Also, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on relationship between each sub-factor of calling and career preparation behavior. Methods Based on the purpose, the following research questions were developed; 1. The relationship between the sub-factors (transcendent summons, purpose/meaning, prosocial orientation) and career decision-making self-efficacy that the theology major student experienced. 2. The relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior that the theology major student experienced. 3. Identification whether the theology major student’s three sub-factors of calling; transcendent summons, purpose/meaning, prosocial orientation can mediate career decision-making self-efficacy between career preparation behaviors or not. The questionnaire was distributed to university student majoring in theology who experienced pastoral practice. Results Finally, a total of 364 samples were used for analysis. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS v.22.0 and structural equation model with AMOS v.26.0. All three sub-factors that the theology major student perceived, have no significant effect on career preparation behavior. However, all the sub-factors of the student’s calling showed significant positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy. Furthermore, the career decision-making self-efficacy showed positive effects on career preparation behavior. Also, the mediation effects of career decision-making self-efficacy was complete mediation in the relationship between three types of calling and career preparation behavior. Conclusions On the basis of the result, this study presented the discussions and implications on the development of career decision-making self-efficacy of theology major university students. Further studies are needed to be done to provide practical and concrete plans for theology major student’s career development through verification of relationships with various variables that can promote career preparation behavior.
