육아종합지원센터 부모교육에 대한 부모와 종사자의 인식 비교

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 육아종합지원센터 부모교육에 대한 부모와 종사자의 인식 차이를 알아보기 위하여 이루어졌다. 방법 경기도 소재 육아종합지원센터 부모교육에 참여한 부모 268명과 육아종합지원센터 종사자 69명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 자료는 설문지법을 사용하여 수집하였다. SPSS 24를 사용하여 통계처리를 하였고 부모와 종사자의 인식 차이를 알아보기 위해 x² 검정을 사용하였다. 결과 첫째, 육아종합지원센터 부모교육의 필요성 및 효과에 대한 인식에서는 부모와 종사자 모두 ‘양육 증진감 증가 및 부모역량 강화’가 가장 우선순위로 나타났고 부모와 종사자 73.9%가 도움이 된다고 하였다. 둘째, 부모교육의 여러 가지 주제 중에서 ‘보육정책 및 어린이집 이해와 양육정보안내’, ‘인지발달을 위한 학습지도 방법’에서 부모와 종사자간의 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 부모교육 운영방법의 효과성 인식 차이에서는 부모의 경우 비대면 교육이, 종사자는 대면 교육이 높게 나타났다. 대면 교육방법에서는 부모의 경우 부모·자녀 체험 활동이, 종사자는 소집단 강연회(20명 미만)가 높게 나타났다. 비대면 교육에서는 부모의 경우 온라인 부모교육 영상안내 제공이, 종사자는 실시간 화상교육이 높게 나타났다. 부모교육 소요시간에서는 부모와 종사자 모두 1시간이 가장 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 부모교육 활성화 방안을 위한 인식 차이 결과에서는 부모의 경우 문자 알림이 가장 높게 나타났고 종사자는 홈페이지 및 뉴스레터와 블로그 등이 높게 나타났다. 정책적 지원에서는 부모의 경우 자녀의 발달단계별 부모교육 콘텐츠 개발이 높았고 종사자는 양육수당 지급 시나 어린이집 입소 시 최소한의 부모교육에 참여할 수 있는 제도적 정책 마련이 높게 나타났다. 결론 본 연구를 통해 부모와 종사자간의 육아종합지원센터 부모교육에 대한 인식의 차이를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 고려하여 부모교육 프로그램 계획 시 부모의 참여를 높이고 교육의 효과성을 제고할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the perceptions of parents and its staffs about parental education executed by the Support Center for Childcare. Methods For this purpose, 268 parents and 69 practitioners of the Support Center for Childcare in Gyeonggi-do were the objects of the study, and the data were collected using the questionnaire method. Statistical processing was performed using SPSS 24, and the chi-squared test were used to examine the difference in perception between parents and its staffs. Results The results of this study are as follows. First of all, in the aspects of the need and effectiveness of parental education at the Support Center for Childcare, increased childcare ability and enhaced parental competence are the highest priority for both parents and staffs, and 73.9% of parents and staffs are helpful. Second, among the several theme on parental education, “understanding of childcare policies and childcare information”, and “learning guidance methods for cognitive development” show meaningful cognitive difference between parents and staffs. Third, non-face-to-face education was higher for parents and face-to-face education for staffs in aspects of the difference in perception of the effectiveness of parental education methods. In the face-to-face education method, many parents responded that parent-child experience activities were more important, and many staffs responded that small group lectures (less than 20 peoples) were more effective. In the case of non-face-to-face education, many parents replied that ‘online parental education video information’ was the most helpful. And many staffs replied that real-time video education for staffs was effective. On the question of the proper time for parental education, many parents and staffs selected ‘1 hour’ Fourth, in the result of the difference in perception for parental education activation plan, the text notification (SMS) showed the highest for parents, and the homepage, newsletter and blog were found to be high among staffs. On government supporting policies, parents showed the highest concerns in development of parent education contents for each stage of their children s development, and many staffs were concerned that all parents are obliged to attend basic parental education when they apply for home care allowance and are admitted to day-care center for children. Conclusions The result of this research shows difference of perception on parental educaton between parents and staffs, and when programming parental education course, application of the basic data in this study will increase participation of parents and efficiency of parental eduation.
