어머니의 양육태도, 친구지지, 교사지지가 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 이 연구에서는 어머니 양육태도, 교사지지, 친구지지가 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향을 파악하였으며, 이들 영향 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 방법 연구대상자는 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널조사 11차 자료(2018)의 초등학교 4학년 1,434명(남 730명, 여 704명)의 가구를 선정하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 통계프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계와 상관관계분석으로 정규성과 상관관계를 파악하였으며, 회귀분석으로 영향력과 매개효과를 검증하였다. 결과 첫째, 아동의 행복감에 미치는 상대적 영향력에서 인구사회학적 특성 중 남학생일수록, 용돈을 정기적으로 줄수록, 건강할수록 아동의 행복감은 높았다. 또한 가족과 대화시간, 친구와 함께하는 시간, 여가활동 시간이 많을수록 아동의 행복감은 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 인구사회학적 특성을 통제한 후 어머니 양육태도, 교사지지, 친구지지가 아동의 행복감에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었으나 자아존중감이 개입함으로서 친구지지는 유의한 영향이 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 어머니 양육태도, 교사지지, 친구지지가 아동의 행복감에 미치는 영향관계에서 자아존중감의 유의미한 부분매개효과를 검증하였다. 결론 이러한 결과를 통해 아동의 행복감을 향상시킬 수 있는 논의를 제시하며, 아동복지에 적용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the effects of mother parenting attitude, teacher support, and friend support on children s happiness were investigated, and the mediating effect of self-esteem in these influence relationships was verified. Methods The subjects of this study were 1,434 4th graders (730 males and 704 females) from the 11th data (2018) of the Korean Children s Panel Survey of the Child Care Policy Research Institute. As for the analysis method, the SPSS statistical program was used to determine the normality and correlation through descriptive statistics and correlation analysis, and the influence and mediation effect were verified through regression analysis. Results First, in terms of the relative influence on children s happiness, among demographic and social characteristics, the more boys, the regular allowances, and the healthier they are, the higher the children’s feelings of happiness. In addition, the more time spent talking with family, time with friends, and leisure activities, the higher the child s happiness. Second, after controlling the demographic and sociological characteristics of children, mother parenting attitude, teacher support, and friend support had a significant effect on the child s happiness, but as self-esteem intervened, friend support did not have a significant effect. Third, in the relationship between mother parenting attitude, teacher support, and friend support on children s happiness, the significant partial mediating effect of self-esteem was verified. Conclusions Through these results, we present discussions that can improve children s feelings of happiness, and provide basic data that can be applied to child welfare.
