국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학생의 학업성취에 미치는 비인지적 요인의 영향을 알아보기 위하여 학업성취와 관련된 학업적 희망, 성취정서, 끈기(Grit) 간의 구조적 관계를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. C도에 있는 K대학교 학생 238명(남학생 94명과 여학생 144명)을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 기술통계분석과 경로분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 학업적 희망은 성취정서(긍정)에 정적인 영향을, 성취정서(부정)에 부적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 성취정서(긍정/부정)는 학업적 희망의 영향을 받아 끈기(Grit)를 매개로 학업성취에 간접영향을 주었고, 끈기(Grit)는 학업성취에 직접적인 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 변인 간 영향관계를 알아봄으로써 고등학교 때와는 매우 다른 환경에서 생활하는 대학생들의 학업성취를 위하여 그들을 보다 종합적으로 이해하고 도움을 줄 수 있는 방안 마련의 기초 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship among academic hope, achievement emotions, grit, and academic achievement of college students. Participants were 238 undergraduate students (94 male and 144 female) and descriptive statistics analysis and path analysis were conducted. In order to cultivate future-oriented social talents, it is necessary to develop a tool that can separately measure self-directed competence and social competence in addition to creative competence. The results showed that academic hope influenced positively on achievement emotions such as joy and hope and pride, on the contrary, it influenced negatively on achievement emotions such as irritation, helplessness, shame, boring. Achievement emotions (positive/negative) influenced by academic hope affected academic achievement by mediation of grit. According to these results, implications for educational practice to help undergraduate students academic achievement who are living in very different environments to compare with their high school life.
