사회과에서 안전교육의 실제적인 접목을 위한 지역학습 교재 개발

국문 초록

본 연구는 안전교육의 중요성에 비해 사회과의 연구가 부족하다는 문제의식에서 출발하였다. 사회과에서 안전교육은 이론만이 아닌 실제로 실행할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 이에 먼저 범교과 학습 위주의 분산적인 교육의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 지역학습과의 접목 가능성을 탐색하여 필요성과 정당성을 확보하였다. 또한 지역학습의 지속성, 활용성을 위해 지역화 교과서에 안전교육 내용을 구성하는 방안이 현실적인 대안임을 밝혔다. 연구방법으로 문헌연구, 교육과정 및 교과서 분석, 포커스그룹 인터뷰, 지역의 사례 조사, 1차 개발 교재의 전문가 검증, 최종 교재 개발안 도출의 과정을 거쳤다. 개발 교재의 소재는 대구의 도시철도 3호선 모노레일이며, 교재로서의 적합성, 전형성, 확장성, 지역성, 흥미도 면에서 적절하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 첫째, 지역에서 안전문제를 학습하기 위한 구체적인 사례를 통한 교재 개발, 둘째, 사회과와 안전교육의 구체적인 접목을 위한 방안으로서 지역화 교과서를 통한 지역학습, 셋째, 사회과와 안전교육의 연결을 위한 지역의 사례 발굴, 넷째, 사회과와 범교과 학습 주제를 연결하는 교재 개발 전략 제시, 다섯째, 사회과의 학문적 외연을 확대시키는 실마리 제시 여섯째, 실제로 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 지역학습과 안전교육의 접목 방안 제시이다. 특히 본 연구는 사회과에서 안전교육을 실제적으로 접목하는 방안으로서 지역학습을 제안하면서 실제적으로 지역화 교과서에 포함시킬 수 있는 교재를 구체적으로 개발하여 진행했다는 점에서 의의가 크다. 향후 본 연구가 사회과와 안전교육의 접목, 지역학습의 소재 발굴과 개발과정에 관한 연구, 지역화 교과서 개발에 실제적으로 기여하기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study started with the lack of interest in social studies and the awareness of the need for actionable measures, not just theory, compared to the importance of safety education. First, in order to improve the problem of distributed education focused on cross-curricular learning, the necessity and legitimacy were secured by exploring the need for regional learning and grafting. In addition, it was revealed that the method of constructing safety education contents in localized textbooks for the continuity and utilization of local learning is a realistic alternative. The material of the developed textbook was Daegu Line 3 urban rail monorail, and was suitable in terms of suitability, typicality, expandability, regionality, and interest as a textbook. The significance of this study is, first, the development of textbooks through concrete examples for learning safety issues in the region, second, the regional learning through localization textbooks as a way to concretely integrate social studies and safety education, and third, the link between social studies and safety education. Finding local cases for education, Fourth, Proposing a textbook development strategy that connects social studies and cross-curricular learning topics, Fifth, Proposing clues to expand the academic outreach of social studies Sixth, Practical ways to combine local learning and safety education that can be used in the field Jesse. In the future, it is expected that this study can make a practical contribution to the grafting of social studies and safety education, research on the material discovery and development process of regional learning, and the development of localized textbooks.
