국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 가정 교과 독서교육 프로그램을 개발해 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 독서 내용을 정리하여 시각적인 결과물을 매개로 발표자의 의견을 표현하는 비주얼 씽킹 기반 발표하기 활동을 적용한 고등학교 가정 교과 독서교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 연구자가 개발한 총 6차시의 프로그램을 2019년 9월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 대구 소재 S고등학교 240명을 대상으로 실시한 후 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 통해 학생들이 인식한 프로그램의 효과를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 첫째, 학습자가 스스로 가정 교과 관련 주제를 선정하고 독서 활동을 통해 교과 지식을 재구성해 발표하는 독서교육 프로그램은 새로운 가정과 수업 방안으로서 가치가 있다고 하였다. 둘째, 가정 교과 독서교육 프로그램은 가정과 이론과 교과 지식의 실제적 이해 및 심화 학습에 도움이 된다고 하였다. 셋째, 가정 교과 독서교육 프로그램은 비판적 사고 능력과 의사소통능력 함양에 도움이 된다고 하였다. 본 연구는 가정 교과 독서교육의 새로운 방안을 제시하고, 교육적 가치를 확인하였다는 데 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of developing a reading program on a Home Economics(HE) curriculum in high school. For this purpose, the reading program on the high school home economics curriculum was developed to organize the contents of reading and apply presentation activities based on visual thinking, in which the presenters can express their opinions through visual outcomes. After conducting this developed program to 240 students of the S high school in Daegu from 1 September 2019 to 30 September 2019, the researchers examined the effects that the students recognized through a focus group interview. First of all, as a result, the learners claimed that this reading program is valuable as a new supposition and a class alternative because they could chose the HE related topics themselves and present to the class by reorganizing their knowledge from the reading activities. Moreover, the Home Economics reading program was helpful to a theory and practical understanding on subject knowledge and advanced learning. Lastly, the reading program was helpful because it improved critical thinking and communication skills. This study is meaningful because it suggested a new alternative on the Home Economics reading curriculum and identified an educational value.
