국문 초록

이 연구에서는 대학생의 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 부모의 자율성지지, 주도적 행동, 학업참여의 중요성을 확인하고, 부모의 자율성지지와 학업성취도의 관계에서 주도적 행동과 학업참여의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 웹기반 설문조사기관을 통해 전국의 4년제 대학생 330명을 대상으로 부모의 자율성지지, 학업성취도, 주도적 행동, 학업참여에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 부모의 자율성지지는 학업성취도, 주도적 행동, 학업참여와 유의미한 정적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 부모의 자율성지지와 학업성취도의 관계에서 주도적 행동과 학업참여의 순차적인 완전매개 효과가 있었다. 이것은 부모의 자율성지지가 학업성취도에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 보다는 주도적 행동과 학업참여를 통해 순차적으로 간접 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 의미한다. 이 연구의 결과는 대학생들의 학업성취도 수준을 높이기 위해서는 주도적 행동과 학업참여를 늘리는 것이 중요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine whether or not proactive behavior and academic engagement played a mediating role in the association between parental autonomy support and academic achievement. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 330 four-year college students nationwide through their web-based survey institute for their parental autonomy support, academic achievement, proactive behavior, and academic engagement. The data was analyzed using structural equation model. The findings were as follows. First, parental autonomy support showed a significant positive relationship with academic achievement, proactive behavior, and academic engagement. Second, In the relationship between parental autonomy support and academic achievement, there were sequential full mediating effects of proactive behavior and academic engagement. This implies that parental autonomy support has a sequential indirect effect through proactive behavior and academic engagement, rather than directly affecting academic achievement. This findings suggest that it is important to increase proactive behavior and academic engagement in order to raise the academic achievement level of university students.
