국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 독산누리사회적협동조합(이하 독산누리) 사례를 통해 조합원들이 그 안에서 무엇을 경험했고, 그 경험이 각자의 삶에 어떤 의미를 가지는지 탐색하는데 있었다. 이를 위해 연구 방법으로 내러티브 탐구를 사용하였으며, 2019년 5월부터 11월까지 연구참여자를 심층 면접하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교협동조합은 실천·실행 중심의 교육으로 학교 교육의 본질적 목표를 실현할 방안이 될 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 학교협동조합은 실천·실행 중심의 교육으로 입시에서 소외된 학생들에게도 교육기회를 제공하여 예비 사회인에게 필요한 소양을 쌓을 기회와 경험을 제공하고 있었다. 둘째, 학교협동조합은 민주시민으로서의 자질을 키우는 토대가 된다는 것을 확인했다. 학교협동조합에 참여하여 직위나 나이에 관계없이 모든 조합원이 동등한 관점에서 바라보고 같은 무게의 표를 가짐으로써 시민으로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있고 토론을 통해 설득하고 합의하는 과정을 거치며 협상해 봄으로써 토론문화를 정착시킬 수도 있다. 셋째, 학교협동조합 프로그램으로 진로교육의 틀을 마련할 수 있다. 학교협동조합을 통해 다양한 교육기회를 접하면서 사회적경제 분야뿐만 아니라 여러 직업에 대해 관심을 가지고 탐색하게 되는 계기가 마련되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore what the members of the School Cooperative experienced in it and what the experience meant to them in their respective lives by examining the case of Doksannuri School Cooperative. To this end, narrative inquiry was used as research methods, and in-depth interviews of research participants were conducted. The conclusions obtained from the research carried out so far are as follows. First, it is confirmed that the School Cooperative could be a way to realize the essential goals of school education through education centered on practice. It provides opportunities and experiences for prospective social workers to build up the necessary skills with practical, implementation-oriented education. Second, it is confirmed that the School Cooperative can serve as the foundation for nurturing democratic citizenship. By participating in the School Cooperative, all members, regardless of rank or age, can perform their civic roles by looking from an equal perspective and having a table of equal weight. We can also establish a culture of discussion by negotiating through the process of persuading and agreeing through discussion. Third, the School Cooperative program can set up a framework for career education. It is expected that through the School Cooperative, they will be interested in exploring various jobs as well as the social economic sectors.
