국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정에서 핵심역량이 교육과정 문서에 제시된 방식과 교육 현장에서 핵심역량 적용 실태를 분석하고 그에 근거하여 국가 교육과정에서의 핵심역량 개선 방향을 탐색하고자 2015 개정 교육과정에 제시된 핵심역량 관련 규정에 대한 분석에 기반하여 첫째, 핵심역량 관련 규정의 명료성과 활용 실태 및 개선 방향을 탐색하고자 교육 현장에서 2015 개정 교육과정을 적용하고 있는 교사 및 장학사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하고, 둘째, 2015 개정 교육과정의 핵심역량의 위상과 역할, 선정 및 조직, 제시 방식의 타당성을 검토하고 그 개선 방향 탐색하기 위해 교육과정 전문가를 대상의 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 2015 개정 교육과정 개발 보고서에는 특히 핵심역량의 활용 방안에 기반한 교과 교육과정 설계 방안이 구체적으로 제시되어 있지만 그 결과가 2015 개정 교육과정 문서에서 가시적으로 드러나지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 핵심역량을 학교 교육과정 편성·운영에 활용하기 위해서는 국가 교육과정 문서에서 핵심역량 관련 규정의 명료성이 선행되어야 할 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 기반으로 본 연구에서는 새로운 교육과정 정책이 도입과 관련하여 교육과정 문서가 갖추어야 할 명료성에 대해 논의하고 이를 구현하기 위한 방안으로 두 가지의 정책 제언과 한 가지의 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the regulations of core competencies in the 2015 revised curriculum and to analyze the actual application of core competencies in the education field to explore the direction of improvement of core competencies in the national curriculum. For this purpose, this study used the following research methods: First, the core competency related regulations presented in the 2015 revised curriculum were analyzed. Second, a survey was conducted on teachers and supervisors about the actual use of core competencies and the direction of improvement, and Delphi survey was conducted on curriculum experts. The results of this study are as follows. First, the 2015 revised curriculum development report specifically suggests the curriculum design plan based on the utilization plan of core competencies, but the results are not clearly visible in the 2015 revised curriculum document. Second, in order to utilize core competencies for the organization and operation of school curriculum, the clarity of core competencies related regulations should be preceded in the national curriculum documents. Based on the above research results, this study discussed the clarity of curriculum documents in relation to the introduction of new curriculum policies. And as a way to implement this, two policy proposals and one follow-up study were proposed.
