국문 초록

본 연구는 도구를 활용한 신체게임 활동이 유아의 창의적 신체표현력과 자기조절력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 G시에 거주하는 만 5세 유아로 실험집단과 비교집단을 각각 19명씩 총 38명 선정하였다. 선행연구 및 문헌 분석을 통해 도구를 활용한 신체게임 활동을 구성하여 실험집단 유아에게는 도구를 활용한 신체게임 활동이 이루어지도록 하고 비교집단 유아에게는 일반적인 신체활동이 이루어지도록 하였다. 자료분석은 두 집단의 사전검사점수를 공변인으로 한 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였고 SPSS 21.0 통계프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 도구를 활용한 신체게임 활동은 유아의 창의적 신체표현력과 자기조절력 향상에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 도구를 활용하여 신체게임 활동에 참여한 유아들이 도구를 다양하게 활용하는 방법에 대해 자유롭게 생각하고 상호작용함으로써 창의적 신체표현력의 향상을 가져？f을 뿐만 아니라 신체게임 활동에 참여하는 과정에서 자발적 몰입을 유도하고 자신의 생각과 감정을 조절하여 자기조절력 향상을 가져왔음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구 결과는 유아의 창의적 신체표현력 및 자기조절력 향상을 위한 교수학습 방법으로서 유아교육현장에서 도구를 활용한 신체게임 활동이 의미있는 대안이 될 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the effects of physical game activity using a tool on young children s creative art expression ability and self-regulation subjects were 38 five-year-old young children, they were divided into an experimental group of 19 and a comparison group of 19. The experimental group played the Physical game activity using a tool while the comparison group engaged general physical activity. The results are as follows. First, young children in the experimental group experienced physical game activity using a tool are creative art expression ability score higher than young children in the comparison group. Second, young children in the experimental group experienced physical game activity using a tool are the self-regulation score higher than young children in the comparison group. Findings are as follows. Physical game activity using a tool had a positive impact on the young children’s creative art expression ability and self-regulation. These results allow children who participated in physical game activities using tools to think freely about how to use the tools in various ways. By interacting, it not only brought about the improvement of creative body expression ability. And it can be seen that in the process of participating in physical game activities, self-regulation was improved by inducing voluntary immersion and controlling one s thoughts and emotions. Therefore, physical game activity should be considered as a meaningful alternative method for teaching and learning methods to help improve creative art expression ability of young children.
