역사과 교과 역량에 대한 역사가와 역사교사의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 역사가와 역사교사가 역사과 교과 역량을 어떻게 인식하는지 알아보고자 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 온라인 설문조사에서는 5개의 역사과 교과 역량의 정의와 설명을 요청하였고 수합된 42명의 데이터를 언어 네트워크 분석 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 역사가와 역사교사는 역사 사실 이해와 역사 자료 분석과 해석 역량을 교육과정에서 제시한 역량과 유사하게 인식하였다. 그러나 역사 정보 활용 및 의사소통 역량, 역사적 판단력과 문제 해결 능력, 정체성과 상호존중에 대한 역량은 다르게 인식하고 있었다. 또 역사교사와 역사가 집단 간 역사과 교과 역량 인식 차이도 나타났다. 교사 집단은 역사과 교과 역량을 수업 상황이나 학생들의 활동을 고려하며 인식하였다. 이에 비해 역사가 집단은 역사학의 연구 방법으로 교과 역량을 인식하였다. 역사가와 역사교사 집단의 인식을 토대로 한다면, 역사 사실 이해와 역사 자료 분석과 해석 역량은 정교하게 수정하는 방향으로, 다른 3가지 역량은 다른 역량으로 바꾸는 방향을 논의해 볼 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study conducted an online survey to find out how a group of history experts perceive subject-specific competencies. Definition and explanation of five subject-specific Competencies were requested, and the results were presented using language network analysis. According to the analysis, the historical expert s perception of subject-specific competencies is as follows. First, the comprehension of historical facts and the competency to analyze and interpret historical data did not differ significantly from the competencies suggested in the existing curriculum. However, the competency to use historical information and communicate, the competency to judge historically and solve problem, and identity and mutual respect competency were recognized differently. In linguistic network analysis, the key words of these three competencies were not located at the center of the competencies and there were not many links. In particular, in terms of identity and mutual respect competency, identity, mutual, respect, or mutual respect itself was ranked low, and links with other words were also low. Based on the perceptions of the group of history experts, future discussions on subject-specific competencies need to discuss precisely the comprehension of historical facts, the competency to analyze and interpret historical data, and turn the other three competencies into other competencies.
