대구가톨릭대학교 교과-비교과 교육과정 통합관리 시스템 구축 및 운영

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 대학생활 전반에 걸친 교과 및 비교과 활동을 통해 핵심역량을 균형 있게 함양할 수 있는 대구가톨릭대학교의 교과-비교과 교육과정 통합관리 시스템 구축 사례를 소개하고, 운영현황과 그 성과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 대구가톨릭대학교의 핵심역량 기반의 교과-비교과 교육과정의 구축 및 평가체계, 비교과 프로그램 관리체계를 소개하였다. 2016학년도 교과-비교과 교육과정 통합관리 체계의 운영 결과, 개설된 비교과 프로그램 수는 1학기 1,057개, 2학기 1,576개이며 참여현황은 각각 44,008명과 61,770명으로 집계되었다. 비교과 교육과정의 질 관리를 위해 학생의 배경변인별 「참인재 성장지수(Stella)」를 분석하였으며, 비교과 프로그램에 대한 만족도 조사를 실시하여 운영 개선을 위한 자료로 사용하고 있다. 대구가톨릭대학교의 운영사례는 역량기반 비교과 교육과정의 개발 계획을 수립하고 비교과 교육과정의 체계적인 관리 및 효율적인 운영방안을 모색하는데 의의가 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to introduce the integrated management system of curriculum-extracurriculum at Daegu Catholic University which can enhance the core competencies through the curriculum and extracurricular activities throughout the university life, and to examine the current state of operation and its performance. To do this, I introduced the core competency-based curriculum- extracurriculum construction and evaluation system, extracurricular management system of Daegu Catholic University. As a result of the operation of the Integrated Management System for curriculum- extracurriculum in the 2016 academic year, the number of extracurricular programs opened 1,057 in the first semester and 1,576 in the second semester, and the number of participants was 44,008 and 61,770 respectively. In order to manage the quality of extracurriculum, I analyzed the “true talent growth index(Stella)” according to background variables of the students and a survey on the satisfaction of the extracurricular program was conducted and used as data for improving the operation. The case of Daegu Catholic University will be useful for establishing a development plan for competency-based extracurriculum, and for systematic management of extracurriculum.
