국문 초록

조운은 시에서 시조로 시형을 바꾸어 창작하였고, 시조의 발달과 시조연구에 지평을 넓힌 시인으로 시사에서 중요한 지점에 있다. 이 글은 두 번에 걸쳐서 간행되었던 문학전집인 『조운문학전집』과 『조운시조집』에도 들어있지 않은 작품들을 발굴하여 공개하고 그 가치와 의미를 밝히고자 하였다. 북한에서 쓴 시조 1편을 제외하고는 전성기 때의 작품으로 발굴한 작품은 창작시 1편과 시조 6편과 번역시 1편이다. 발굴한 시 「등잔ㅅ불」은 시조로 시형을 바꾸어 가는 과정에 있었던 작품으로 현대시와 시조의 시형이 발견되는 작품으로 가치가 있고, 연시조인 「춘수」, 「밤ㅅ새」과 단형시조인 「달」, 「해」은 조운이 전성기 때 쓴 시조로 시형에 대한 고민과 언어의 절제미가 돋보인다. 특히 연시조 「누이를 보내고」은 최서해의 가족사가 담겨 있어 그 의미와 가치가 높다. 또 「갖옷 말아 안고」은 유일하게 번역한 시조라는 사실을 밝힌 만큼 조운의 문학적 생애와 작품세계 연구에 중요한 단서를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Cho Wun was a poet who changed his poetic form from poetry to sijo, the traditional three-verse Korean poem, and expanded his aspects in poetry development and studies. The purpose of this study is to reveal his works that were not included in the two literary books, Cho Wun Literature Collection and Cho Wun Poetry Collection, and to expose their value and meaning. The revealed works are the works of his prime time, one creative poem, 8 traditional three-verse Korean poems and one translated poem. These works are known for the first time to the world as only the titles were known before. The first revealed work was 「燈盞ㅅ불」 which was during the process of changing the type of poetry to traditional three-verse Korean poems. It is a work in which both modern poetry and traditional three-verse Korean poetry are found, and stanzaic sijo, 「春愁」, 「밤ㅅ새」 and dan sijo 「Moon」, 「Sun」 are the works of the prime of his sijo creation which show concerns about the poetic form and the abstinence of language. Stanzaic sijo 「Sending a sister away」 is especially valuable and meaningful because it contains Choi Seo- hae’s family history. These works, as his prime work, are expected to play an important role in studying Cho Wun’s literary life and sijo studies.
