탈북대학생 관련 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국연구재단 등재(후보)지에 게재된 탈북대학생 논문의 연구동향을 분석하고 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 정리하여 향후 탈북대학생 관련 연구를 제언하는 것이다. 본 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 학술연구정보서비스(RISS: Research Information Service System)와 국회도서관 검색 서비스를 이용하여 2019년 3월 한달 동안 2003년부터 2019년 3월까지 발표된 탈북대학생 관련 자료를 수집하였다. 검색어는 탈북대학생, ‘북한 이탈 주민 대학생’, ‘새터민 대학생’, ‘북한이탈 대학생’으로 투입하였다. 이 결과 총 44편의 논문이 최종 연구대상으로 선정되었다. 분석의 준거는 연도별 연구동향, 게재 학술지, 연구 대상자의 호칭, 연구방법, 그리고 연구주제이다. 연구주제는 4개의 대주제 즉, 대학적응, 사회적응, 언어/영어학습, 남북한 비교로 구분되었고, 하위요인으로 총 10개의 소주제가 구분되었다. 분석 결과, 2013년을 기점으로 현재까지 연도별 발표논문 수는 증가하고 있었으며, 총 37개의 학술지에 논문이 게재되었고, 교육학 분야의 학술지에 가장 많은 논문이 발표되었다. 질적연구 방법을 활용한 논문이 가장 많았고, 탈북대학생이라는 명칭의 연구가 가장 많았다. 연구문제 2의 연구주제 분석의 결과, 대학적응과 관련된 논문이 52.27%로 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 사회적응, 언어/영어학습, 남북한 비교의 순으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구의 결과를 중심으로 논의와 결론을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of North Korean defector college students in South Korea and to suggest implications of future researches. For this purpose, we collected 44 academic articles which were published in domestic journals using the academic research information service and the National Assembly Library search service. First, the trend of research was analyzed according to publication year, journals field, naming of research subjects, and method. Second, the research theme was analyzed according to university adaptation, social adaptation, language/English learning, and comparison between North and South Korea. The number of research articles has been growing since 2013. There were more articles using qualitative research method compared to articles with the quantitative research method. Third, the result of the analysis of the research topic, 52.27% of the papers were related to the adaptation to university. Compared with papers on North Korean defectors, the number of research articles on North Korean defector college students are very small. It is necessary to study on North Korean defector college students in arious ways and the development and effectiveness of programs that can directly help them adapt to college and social adaptation.
