영아 수학적 탐색활동 지원을 위한 구성주의 교사교육프로그램 개발 및 적용

국문 초록

본 연구는 영아 수학적 탐색활동 지원을 위해 구성주의에 기초한 교사교육프로그램을 개발하여 현직 영아반 담임교사들에게 적용하고 영아교사의 수학지도지식, 수학지도적극성, 수학적 상호작용, 구성주의신념, 수학교수효능감의 변화를 살펴보고 자 시행되었다. 프로그램 개발을 위해 문헌조사와 영아반 수학적 탐색활동에 대한실태 및 요구도 조사를 실시하였으며 S시 어린이집의 영아반 담임교사 22명에게 본 연구에서 개발된 구성주의 교사교육프로그램을 총 8주간 18회기에 걸쳐 적용하였다. 참여교사들의 수학지도지식, 수학지도적극성, 수학적 상호작용, 구성주의신념, 수학교수효능감의 양적인 변화를 살펴보기 위해 SPSS WIN 21.0을 이용하여 프로그램실시 전과, 중간, 종료 후의 점수에 대해 반복측정 분산분석을 실시하였고, 교육 중 에 수집된 반성적 저널, 활동평가, 심층면담 자료를 분석하여 질적인 변화를 살펴보았다. 구성주의에 기초하여 개발된 본 연구의 프로그램은 탐색-조사-적용-평가의 단계로 이루어지며 영아 수학적 탐색활동에 대한 지식, 기술, 태도 형성에 관한 내용 요소로 현직 영아교사들이 8가지 주제의 교육내용을 현장에서 직접 실천하고 다시 분석 평가하는 과정을 반복적으로 경험하도록 구성하였다. 교사교육프로그램을 적용한 결과 영아교사들의 수학지도지식, 수학지도적극성, 수학적 상호작용, 구성주의 신념, 수학교수효능감이 증진되는 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔다. 본 연구는 보육현장에서 영아 수학적 탐색활동을 직접 다루고 있는 현직 영아교사를 대상으로 개발하고 적용하여 그 변화를 살펴보고자 하였다는데 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a constructivism-based teacher education program to support the infant s mathematical inquiry activity and examine the changes of mathematical teaching knowledge, mathematical teaching initiative, mathematical interaction, and constructivism belief of current infant teachers. In order to develop the program, the survey of relevant literature and the actual condition and demand on infant s class mathematical inquiry activity was performed, and the constructivism-based teacher educational program which was developed by this study was applied to the 22 infant teachers of daycare centers in S City 18 times for a total of 8 weeks. As for the quantitative changes of mathematical teaching knowledge, mathematical teaching initiative, mathematical interaction, and constructivism belief of the participating teachers, SPSS WIN 21.0 was used to perform repeated measures ANOVA on the scores before, in the middle, after the performance of the program, and the data of reflective journals, activity evaluation, and in-depth interviews collected during the education were analyzed to review the qualitative changes. The program of this study developed based on constructivism is composed of the stages of inquiry-survey-application-evaluation, and the educational contents of 8 subjects of the current infant teachers were directly practiced in the field with the content element about knowledge, skills, attitude formation on infant s mathematical inquiry activity, and it was made to make the course of analysis and evaluation experienced repeatedly. As a result of application of the teacher education program, the positive changes to improve mathematical teaching knowledge, mathematical teaching initiative, mathematical interaction, and constructivism belief were produced. This study has a significant meaning in the point that the program was developed to apply to the current infant teachers who directly deal with the infant s mathematical inquiry activity, and the study tried to examine the changes
