예비교사를 위한 에너지 교육의 효과성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비교사를 위한 에너지 전문성 연수 프로그램을 개발하고 그 교육적효과에 대해 진단하고, 이를 통해 에너지 교육을 위한 시사점을 제공하는 데에 목적이 있다. 연구자들은 수도권 대학에 재학 중인 예비 초등교사 42명을 대상으로 15시 간 연수를 수행하였으며, 에너지 소양을 구성하는 지식, 태도, 행동 및 교수결과 기대감을 포함한 사전·사후 설문을 통해 그 효과를 분석하였으며, 주요인이 무엇인지 파악하기 위해 상관 분석과 회귀 분석, 주성분 분석 등을 R-Studio를 활용해 실시하 였다. 그 결과, 에너지에 대한 지식과 태도, 행동이 전반적으로 연수 이후 상승하였으나 자아효능감이나 사회적 태도, 의사결정 등 개인의 책무성이나 실천과 관련된 요소에서는 유의미한 향상이 발견되지 않았다. 또한 사후 설문 결과 에너지 교수결 과 기대감이 매우 부정적으로 나타났다. 상관 분석 결과 역시 에너지 소양과 교수결과 기대감과는 관련이 없었다. 주성분 분석 결과 또한 에너지에 대한 행동과 교수결과 기대감이 상반된 경향을 보임을 알 수 있었다. 이에 에너지 교육에 대한 교사의 전문성 향상을 위해서는 실천적 접근과 관련된 다양한 교수 경험과 참여 기회, 장기적 접근이 요구되며 교육과정과 연계한 관련성을 강조할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a pre-service training program for improving teacher professional development on energy education, and to provide its pedagogical implications. The researchers implemented 15-hour program to 42 pre-service teachers in the metropolitan area, and asked them to answer the questionnaire before and after the instruction, which was comprised of energy literacy(knowledge, attitude and behavior) and teaching expectation. In order to figure out the relationships among them, this study relied upon correlation, regression and principal component analyses using R-Studio. The results showed that the overall dimensions related to energy literacy were improved after the instruction. Social attitude, self-efficacy and decision, connected to personal belief and action, were not significantly changed at all. In spite of significant changes in energy literacy, the pre-service teachers responded to the teaching expectation negatively. The correlation and principal component analyses proved their relationships as well. Such results implicated the need for more practical approach to improve their professional development on the energy education, such as classroom observation, team-based learning and micro-teaching
