국문 초록

학교 음악교육의 목적은 학생의 전 생애에 걸쳐 음악을 생활화하도록 하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 초등학교 3·4학년 음악의 생활화 개선 방안 연구를 위해 제7차 국어, 수학, 음악과 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정에 이르기까지 생활화 내용을 살 펴보고 현행 세 교과서의 생활화 반영 양상을 분석해 보고자 한다. 이를 통해 얻은 시사점으로는 첫째, 국어과나 수학과 교육과정의 모든 부분에서 생활화 내용을 강조하지 않으나 교과서에는 충분히 활용도가 높은 바, 음악과 교육과정의 새로운 시각 이 필요하다. 둘째, 음악 고유의 당위성이 중시되면서 생활에 실천할 수 있는 다양한 내용 및 활동이 제시되어야 한다. 셋째, 교과서 진술 방식에 있어서도 다양한 제시방식이 강구되어야 한다. 넷째, 공감과 배려, 의사소통 역량을 키울 수 있는 생활화 방향이 모색되어야 한다. 타 교과의 생활화 반영 양상을 통해 개선점을 파악해 보고 앞으로 음악 교육이 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 실질적 도움이 될 수 있는 연구가 꾸준히 지속되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of school music education is to help students experience music in their lives throughout their lifetime. This study attempted to analyze from the 7th courses to the 2015 revised elementary school curriculums in Korean, math and music and investigate how they were routinized. Then, it examined reflection patterns on the above three school textbooks, and the results found the followings: In music class, ‘music in daily life’ is emphasized throughout the course. In Korean class, ‘Korean in daily life’ is omitted in ‘category’ only. In math class, on the contrary, the details are presented in ‘achievement standards’ only to achieve and implement the ‘goal’. According to analysis of school textbooks, ‘math’ was the best in reflecting daily life aspects while such routinization wasn’t much reflected in music class. The implications of the above results can be summarized as follows: First, in both Korean and math classes, such routinization is not emphasized in all curriculums. However, it has great utilization, it is needed to have a new perspective in music class. Second, since the validity of music becomes more important, various contents and activities which could adopt music in our daily lives should be suggested. Third, in terms of the description of school textbooks, diverse methods should be considered. Fourth, it is needed to search for a way to enhance empathy & care and communication capability. Furthermore, there should be further studies on how to give practical help after examining what should be improved through analysis on the reflection of such routinization on other courses.
