국문 초록

본 연구는 2013년부터 2019년 2월까지 수행된 유아 수학교육 활동 관련 연구들의 동향을 분석하여 현재 요구되어지는 과제를 논의함으로써 향후 유아 수학교육 연구의 방향을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국내에서 발표된 유아 수학교육 활동 관련 학위논문과 학술지논문 총 135편을 선정하여 연도별 논문출처, 연구대상, 활동유형, 연구방법, 각 변인들을 중심으로 연구동향을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아 수학교육 활동 관련 연구는 매년 꾸준히 수행되었으며, 연구대상은 만 5세 유아를 대상로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 통합적 접근의 활동유형이 많이 이루어졌고, 양적분석의연구가 주로 이루어졌다. 활동기간은 8주∼16주, 활동횟수는 5회∼16회가 가장 많았고, 수학적 개념을 강조하고 있는 동향이 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 기초로 이후 유아 수학교육 활동 및 프로그램 개발 연구에서 고려해야 할 점들에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of early childhood mathematics education studies from 2013 to February of 2019. For the analysis, the research annual thesis source, subjects, types of activities, research methods, and variables were analysed by examining 135 research papers on early childhood mathematics education, and future research directions and tasks were suggested. The results showed that early childhood mathematics education were consistently every year. In addition the majority of the activities were conducted on 5 years old children. There are many types of activities of an integrated approach, and most researches utilized quantitative observations. The duration of activity was 8 to 16 weeks, and the number of activities was 5 to 16 times, and the tendency was to emphasize mathematical concepts. We discussed the problems and suggested the recommendations that can possibly improve the future development of early childhood mathematics education program from the results of the study.
