유아의 메타인지와 리더십 간의 관계에서 배려행동의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육현장에서 함양해야 할 유아 리더십에 대하여 메타인지가 유아 리더십에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 이 두 변수와의 관계에서 배려행동 요인에 대한 매개 효과를 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구를 위한 연구모형에는 메타인지의 하위요인인 인지전략, 계획하기, 자기점검과 배려행동, 리더십 등의 요인들을 포함하였다. G시에 소재하는 6개 유치원과 7개 어린이집 원아 만 5세를 240명을 대상으로 교사용 설문 지를 사용하였으며, 2인의 연구자가 본 연구의 목적을 직접 설명한 후 설문지를 배부ㆍ수합하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석 결과, 첫째, 메타인지가 리더십에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 메타인지의 하위요인인 자기점검, 계획하기, 인지전략 순으로 리더십에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 메타인지의 하위요인인 인지전략이 리더십에 미치는 영향력과 배려행동이 메타인지와 리더십간의 관계에서 유의미한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 배려행동, 인지전략 순으로 리더십에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 위와 같은 연구결과는 유아의 메타인지 수준과 배려행동을 높임으로써 유아의 리더십을 증진 시킬 수 있는 다양한 방안제시를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study attempts to investigate the effect of metacognition on children’s leadership that needs of cultivating in the child education field, and identify the mediating effect of factors on care behavior in relation to these two variables. The research model for this study includes factors such as cognitive strategy, planning, self‐check, care behavior, and leadership, etc. which are sub‐factors of metacognition. A questionnaire for teacher’s use survey was conducted on 240 children five years of age from six kindergartens and seven child care centers located in G city, and after two researchers directly explained the purpose of the study, they distributed copies of a questionnaire and collected them. In the analysis results of collected data, first, it is found that the metacognition has a significant effect on the leadership, and that sub‐factors of metacognition such as the self‐check, planning, and cognitive strategy in that order affect the leadership. Second, it is found that there is a significant mediating effect on the relationship between the influence of cognitive strategy, that is, a sub‐factor of metacognition on the leadership and the influence of care behavior on metacognition and leadership, and that care behavior, and cognitive strategy in that order significantly affect the leadership. It is thought that by increasing the children’s metacognition level and care behavior, the results of this study as above can be used as a basis for the basic data to suggest ways to promote the children’s leadership.
