초등학교 고학년생이 지각한 교사애착과 또래애착이 행복감에 미치는 영향: 학교생활적응의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 고학년생이 지각한 교사애착, 또래애착과 행복감의 관계에서 학교생활적응의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 경기도에 소재한 5개의 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년 757명을 대상으로 2018년 4월 1일부터 4월 30일까지 학년별로 2학급씩 군집 표집하여 교사애착, 또래애착, 학교생활적응, 행복감 척도를 사용하여 자료를 수집하 였다. 불성실하게 응답한 21부를 제외한 736부의 자료를 연구대상으로 하였다. 수집된 결과는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석을 실시하였 고, 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사애착, 또래애착, 학교생활적응, 행복감 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 모든 변인간의 관계가 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 교사애착, 또래애착과 행복감과의 관계에서 학교 생활적응의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 교사애착과 행복감과의 관계에서 학교생활적 응이 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 또래애착과 행복감과의 관계에서 학교생 활적응이 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 교사애착은 행복감에 간접적으로 영향을 미치며 또래애착은 행복감에 직접적, 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 초등학생의 학교적응 상담과정에서, 교사애착과 또래애착을 높이기 위한 적절한 개입을 통해 학교생활의 어려움을 이해하고 적응을 높여 행복감을 가질 수 있도록 교사교육에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to investigate the mediating effect of school life adaptation in relation to teacher attachment, peer attachment, and happiness of late elementary school students. From April 1st to April 30, 2018, two classes per grade, which are in the 4th, 5th and 6th grade of 5 elementary school in Gyeonggi-do, 757 students, are selected based on cluster sampling. The data were collected using teacher attachment scale, peer attachment scale, school life adaptation scale, and happiness scale, and the response of 736 students excluding insincere response of 21 students were analyzed. The SPSS 23.0 program is used for descriptive statistic analysis and correlation analysis, and the AMOS 23.0 program is used for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling to investigate the mediating effect. The results of this study are as follows: First, the correlation between teacher attachment, peer attachment, school life adaptation, and happiness showed a significant static correlation between all modalities. Second, after analyzing the mediated effects of school life adaptation in relation to teacher attachment, peer attachment and happiness, it was found that the school life adaptation completely mediates the relationship between teacher attachment and happiness. Also, it was found that school life adaptation mediates part of the relationship between peer attachment and happiness. In other words, teacher attachment indirectly influences happiness, and peer attachment directly and indirectly affects happiness. Therefore, in the course of counseling on school adaptation for elementary school students, we will provide suggestions to the teachers so that they can understand the difficulties of school life. In this way, the students will have a greater sense of happiness through proper intervention to enhance their attachment to teachers and to their peers.
