상보적 교수-학습의 문제해결 프로그램이 초등저학년 학생의 사회적 기술 향상에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등저학년 학생의 사회적 상호작용과 관련된 사회적 기술(공감, 협력, 자기주장, 자기조절)을 향상시키기 위하여 상보적 교수-학습의 문제해결 프로 그램을 개발하여 실험을 통해 그 효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위하여 서울 S 지역의 초등학교에서 1학년 2개 집단 50명을 선발하여 각각 25명씩 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구성하고, 문성원(2013)이 개발한 한국판 사회성 기술 평정척도(K-SSRS-S:초등 학생용)를 이용하여 사전 검사를 하였다. 실험은 10.01～12.01까지 약 2개월에 걸쳐 진행되었는데, 실험 기간 동안 실험집단에게는 12회기의 상보적 교수-학습의 문제해 결프로그램을 통하여 수업을 진행하였고, 동일한 평정척도를 이용하여 사후 검사를한 후, 두 독립표본 t-test와 대응표본 t-test를 실시하였다. 실험 결과, 상보적 교수-학습의 문제해결프로그램을 활용하여 수업을 한 실험집단의 사회적 기술이 유의미 하게 상승하였다. 이는 상보적 문제해결 프로그램이 또래 간의 상호작용의 기회가 많기 때문에 초등학교 저학년의 사회적 기술을 향상시키기 위한 효과적인 교수-학습 방법임을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

In this study, the problem-solving program of reciprocal peer tutoring was developed to improve social skills (sympathy, cooperation, self-assertion, and self-regulation) related to the social interaction of elementary school students, and its effects were verified through experiments. To this end, 50 students from two elementary schools in S region of Seoul were selected, consisting of 25 test groups and control groups each, and pre-examined using the K-SSRS-S: Elementary School, developed by Moon Sung-won (2013). During the experiment lasted about two months from 10.01 to 12.01., the experimental group conducted classes through a problem-solving program of reciprocal peer tutoring in 12 sessions, and conducted a post-examination using the same scale, followed by two independent samples, t-test and a paired sample t-test. As a result of the experiment, the social skills of the group that conducted the class significantly increased using the problem-solving program of reciprocal peer tutoring. This indicates that the complementary problem-solving program is an effective teaching-learning method for improving social skills in a lower grade at elementary schools because there are many opportunities for peer interactions among peers.
