고등학교 과학 수업에서 실행되는 교수법에 대한 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학교 과학 수업에서 이루어지는 교수법을 탐색하여 특징을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 14개 고등학교를 연구 대상으로 선정하고, PISA 2015 설문을 이용하여 2018년 1학기 말 고등학생들의 과학 교수법에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생들은 과학 수업에서 교사 주도 수업과 학생 맞춤형 수업이 많이 발생하고, 피드백 제공 수업은 상대적으로 적게 발생하는 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 공립고 학생들의 교사 주도 수업과 탐구 기반 수업에 대한 인식이 사립고와 과학고 학생들에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 낮게 나타 났다. 셋째, 남학교 학생들이 남녀공학의 학생들에 비해 교사 주도 수업, 피드백 제공 수업, 탐구 기반 수업에서, 여학교 학생들은 학생 맞춤형 수업에서 더 긍정적인 인식을 보이고 있었다. 마지막으로 과학 성취 상집단의 학생들이 교사 주도 수업과 학생 맞춤형 수업에서 과학 교수법에 대해 더 긍정적인 응답을 보였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of science instruction in high school. For this purpose, 14 high schools was selected, and by using the PISA 2015 questionnaire, high school students perception of science instruction was examined at the end of the first semester of 2018. The results of the study are as follows: First, high school students recognized that there are many teacher-directed instruction and adaptive instruction in science classes, and that there were relatively few perceived feedback. Second, public high school students perceptions of teacher-directed instruction and enquiry-based instruction were statistically significantly lower than those of private and science high school students. Third, the students in the male school showed more positive perceptions in teacher-directed instruction, perceived feedback, and enquiry-based instruction compared to co-ed school students, and the students in female school showed more positive perceptions in adaptive instruction, Finally, the analysis based on scientific achievement showed that students from the upper group had a more positive response to science instruction in teacher-directed instruction and adaptive instruction.
