취업준비생의 취업준비 경험 및심리적 지원 요구

국문 초록

본 연구는 소속이 없이 전적으로 취업을 준비하는 청년(이하 취업준비생)의 경험을 알아보고 이들의 심리적 지원 요구를 구체적으로 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 10명의 취업준비생을 심층면담한 후, 합의적 질적 분석(CQR)을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 8개의 범주에서 28개 영역 및 그에 따른 64개의 개념이 도출되었으며, 내용에 따라 빈도 또한 분석되었다. 취업준비생이 경험하는 어려움으로는 개인적 차원에서 신체·정서·인지, 사회적 차원에서 경제·가족 외 관계·가족 내 관계·고용환경 등이 나타 났으며, 이들의 어려움에 대한 대처는 효과적이었는지 여부에 따라 구분하였다. 효과적인 대처로는 자기개발·여가생활 ·정서적 지지가 나온 반면, 대외 활동·여가생활· 주변인의 조언·패인 반추·미신에의 의지와 같은 효과적이지 못한 것으로 평가된 대처 또한 다수 있었다. 취업 준비생의 심리적 지원요구에서 심리적 지원이 필요한 이유로는 정서적 지원요구·상호작용·소속이 없다는 상황적 특수성이 강조되었으며, 접근성·비용·내용적 측면에서 심리적 지원과 관련한 기대를 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 국내 청년들이 소속을 상실한 후 전적으로 취업을 준비하는 과정에서 경험하는 심리적 어려움을 분석하고 이와 관련한 심리적 지원 요구를 확인함으로써 국내 취업 준비생의 진로․취업 지원에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의및 한계에 대해 논하였다.

영문 초록

This research aimed to figure out experiences of people who are not assigned to any position and looking for jobs and their needs for psychological supports. For the purpose, 10 job seekers without any affiliations were interviewed. The interview data were analyzed with the spiral data analysis method and CQR. The results were as followed. The researchers categorized the interview data in 8 areas, 28 categories, and 64 concepts. The experience of interviewees job searching were analyzed in three themes: difficulties in job searching, copings strategies and psychological support needs of job applicants. Job applicants experienced job searching difficulties in many ways including physical and emotional issues, negative thinking, economic issues and relationships. Anxiety of having no affiliations was especially emphasized in their interviews and that interacted with other variables. The copings strategies for job searching difficulties were also analyzed. Finally, the researchers reported psychological support needs for the job applicants. Suggestions and limitations of the research were discussed.
