특수학급 지적장애중학생의 친구관계 질이 학교적응에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 일반중학교의 특수학급에 재학 중인 지적장애학생을 대상으로 친구관계 질이 학교적응에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상은 부산, 울산, 경남지역의 지적장애중학생 106명이며, 조사기간은 2015년 12월부터 2016년 2월까지이다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계와 상관분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 친구관계 질 요소 중 친밀감이 지적장애중학생의 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 학교적응의 하위영역별로 살펴보면, 친구관계 질 요소 중 동료애가 수업참여와 학교환경적응에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났고, 친밀감이 학교규칙 준수와 친구 및 교사관계, 학교만족에 영향을 미치는요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 지적장애중학생의 친구관계 질과 학교적응간의 관계 를 살펴봄으로써 지적장애학생의 학교부적응을 예방하고, 원만한 학교생활을 돕기위한 구체적인 지원방안을 탐색하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the predictors of friendship quality on school adjustment of middle school students with intellectual disabilities in special class. The participants were 106 middle school students with intellectual disabilities in three cities; Busan, Ulsan, & Gyeongnam province. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson relationship and stepwise regression analyses. The results were as follows. First, sub-components as intimacy had a meaningful effect on the level of overall school adjustment. Second, companionship had a meaningful effect on the level of academic engagement and school environment adjustment. Futhermore intimacy had a meaningful effect on the level of observance of the school rules, peer and teacher relationship and school satisfaction. This study can be a meaningful step in preventing school maladjustment and suggesting concrete support strategies by providing basic data.
