근거이론에 의한 보육교사의 사회관계교육 인식과 실제

국문 초록

본 연구는 근거이론을 통해 보육교사들의 영유아 사회관계교육에 대한 의미와 어려움 및 활성화 방안을 총체적으로 살펴봄으로써, 보육교사들이 사회관계교육을 수행하는데 도움을 주고자 하였다. 본 연구는 2015년 11월부터 2016년 2월까지 부산․ 경남지역의 0에서 5세를 맡고 있는 보육교사 10명을 대상으로 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 보육교사는 영유아 사회관계교육 의미를 영유아가 보육시설에 입학하여 일상생활을 통해 현대사회에서 요구되는 사회성 기초를 형성 하는 것 이라고 하였다. 영유아 사회관계교육의 어려움은 교사의 전문성 및 연수부족, 근무환경과 사회적 분위기에서 찾았으며, 활성화 방안은 가정, 교사, 지역사회로 이어지는 다양한 지원정책, 동료교사와의 밀접한 협력 체제를 만드는 것, 보육교사의 전문 성 형성으로 보았다. 본 연구 결과는 보육교사 스스로 변화하겠다는 마음과 끊임없는 노력으로 사회관계교육을 익혀 보육교사의 가치를 높이는 ‘전문가로 변화하기’가 사회관계교육의 어려움을 극복하고 영유아 사회관계교육 실행에 도움이 될 수 있음 을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to help child care teachers incorporate social relation education in curriculum by conducting in-depth consultation for the child care teachers working at day care centers through evaluated the meaning of teaching, difficulties in practice, and activation plan implementing social relation education. Based on this purpose, research questions asked in this study are as follows. First, what is the meaning of social relation education through child care teachers? Second, what are the difficulties encountered by child care teachers during the practice of social relation education? Third, What is the activation plan of social relation education? The study recruited 10 child care teachers who majored in children education or relative majors in nursing. The analysis of the practice of social relation education by child care teachers was performed based on the grounded theory of Strauss and Corbin(1990, 1998). The results came up with 92 conceptions, 30 subcategories and 13 categories. In conclusion, although the child care teachers put importance on social relation education for infants, they had varying degrees of recognition of concern and understanding. Due to insufficiency of support system and training courses for child care teachers, there are many obstacles to social relation education on site, but this can be improved by suggesting activation plan that can overcome such difficulties.
